Canada Geese on the Bow RIver

Whenever I am out looking to take pictures and I want to find animals of some variety, I know water is a good place to hopefully see something. The Bow River runs the entire width of Calgary and is home to all kinds of animals. I think if there was one species in charge, though, it would be the Canada goose. They are numerous, they will congregate together, and they will aggressively protect their young. Sometimes they can be very friendly and approachable. Other times you just know they don't want you there, as they will hiss and chase you off. I've learned to respect this bird that also serves as one of the de facto mascots of Canada.
