A Pair of Cranky (Somewhat) Canada Geese

This pair was hanging out in a parking lot when I was at an event. They seemed pretty relaxed until any people walked by, and then the chorus would begin. They seemed cranky; they would hiss for a little bit, but no one was really all that close by and they wouldn't give chase like they do at times. I thought perhaps it's a couple either wishing for a more peaceful day at the puddle or they just like being vocal and loud. I kept telling them, It's okay, you're fine, and they would get calmer for a moment. There was another pair about 30 feet away near another puddle, and they seemed to be a bit noisy, as well; maybe they were having a neighbors' quarrel.
