Perseverance: A character I learned as a child and used as an adult.

In life, there must be something we learned when growing up and we put into practice when in mature age and state.

Growing up, like it's written in the Bible in
Proverbs:22.6
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. And so my parents always emphasized as they taught me the importance of never giving up, to being persistent, and consistent, no matter how hard, boring, easy, and difficult a task may seem to be. The big word perseverance was always on my agenda whenever I was to do anything at any point in time, my amiable parents taught me that with hard work and determination, I could overcome any obstacle that may come my way.

And so the most valuable thing that I see as lessons of my early child's life is perseverance and I'm making use of it in my state of adulthood.
During my days in nursery, high school, and here in the university ,I faced several difficulties and challenges that tested my perseverance, I encountered setbacks when studying for a tough course, and with perseverance, I was able to scale through.

One of my childhood memories and experiences was when I was taking a learning class on riding a bike, I can remember when I struggled to gain balance with the pedals at the same time, and I fell severally Instead of giving up on riding, I brought in the big the lesson which was perseverance and instead of giving up, my parents and friends Will encouraged me not to give up and keep trying till I was perfect and after several days and hours of rehearsals and practice,
I was able to master the art and science of riding a bicycle.

My father once told me about his experience with perseverance when he was working toward a promotion at his workplace. He had been passed over for several opportunities in the past year on promotion, and he was starting to feel discouraged, instead of throwing away the opportunity, he decided to work even harder and prove to his superiors that he deserved the promotion.

He took on extra projects, stayed late at the office, and constantly sought feedback on how he could improve. It wasn't easy, and there were many times when he felt like giving up. But he kept pushing forward, knowing that his hard work would eventually pay off.

And it did. After months of perseverance and dedication, he was finally rewarded with the promotion he had been working towards. The sense of accomplishment and pride he felt was overwhelming.

Today, as an adult, I continue to apply the lesson of perseverance in all aspects of my life. Whether I'm facing a difficult challenge at school, navigating a personal struggle, or pursuing a new goal, I always remember the importance of never giving up. And time and time again, I have seen how this mindset has led me to success and fulfillment.

It's the person that gives up that fucks up. We can take breaks here and there, but giving up is not an option. It's nice that your family made sure you learned that early and well
