Inspired Damfo Driver, a song written in the heart of Ajegunle, Lagos.

This morning when I woke up, I went to my dad's room to do some cleanup and I went as far as dusting his old CD packs when I was doing that I found a music park with two duos Lagos duos on it, thanks to the style of music CD label and branding of the pack, I saw some valuable hint on these duo and I was hungry to know more about them.

I know the new generation will or may ask what's this Damfo all about, in Lagos state, particularly in the ghetto of Ajegunle, two young and rising Star then known as Madmelon and Mountain Black as their names and not Damfo per say, the Damfo was a yellow boss in Lagos or what we may be called "Volkswagen vanagon t3" it's was always an eighteen seater public transport in the heart of Lagosian.

Danfo Driver

The song titled "Danfo Driver" is a song that was inspired by the popular commercial bus in Nigeria called "Danfo" as I have mentioned above, and the reckless driving behavior of some of the drivers on the busy road of Lagos.
Madmelon and Mountain Black, the two duo used their music through the lyrics to highlight social issues in the country and entertain their fans. The success of the song brought Madmelon and Mountain Black into the spotlight and solidified their place in the Nigerian music industry, even when the different music handles that we had weren't there such as the apple music, boomplay, etc, the only way they promote music was through selling of the CD
