The future depends on many things, mostly on me.

Some years ago, there was this tall, dark, middle aged man, who moved about selling stickers to students in different schools.
One day, he came to our school and then decided to enter the JSS3 class.

His stickers were small sized, and each had an inspiring quote boldly written on it.
The best part was, his stickers were sold at affordable prices. This prompted all the students to buy from him. Even those without money got it paid by their friends, since it wasn't costly.

My circle of friends and I bought one each for ourselves.
When I collected my sticker, I saw the write up "the future depends on many things , mostly on me."
My friends collected mine to check the note and I got theirs as well.
We compared our write-ups with smiles on our faces. We all had amazing inspirations.

I took my school bag and placed the sticker on it.
At first, it appeared as a normal quote, but as time went on, I understood the power in those words.

Whenever I picked my bag at home or in school, I saw those words. They begun to sound beyond mere words in my ears.
I sensed responsibility and leadership embedded in them.
Everyday, I set my eyes on a quote that became one of my greatest motivation.

Yes, lots of persons out there are looking up to you.
The future can't wait to have you as the hero.

You were born to save the day.
You were born to make a positive change on earth, so don't give room for mediocrity.

In every action and decision you take, never forget that "THE FUTURE DEPENDS ON MANY THINGS, MOSTLY ON YOU!"
