Hey there! Lately, this was my breakfast: a coffee and that's it.
It's weird thing coming from someone who doesnt drink coffee everyday or didn't used to. But in the last month a coffee was enough for me to enjoy in the morning.
I found what's best for me and how I like to have my coffee at home.
It's an espresso with frothed milk and dark cacao powder on top. It's like a cappuccino. The cacao powder changes the whole thing, it's more flavored and delicious.
And also, I think I didnt share here on hive my passion for puzzles. 🧩
When not having buzy days, I enjoy a cup of coffee while putting together some puzzle pieces.
For me, this is perfect to start the day!

I am more than happy with my homemade one! That foam making machine wd have from Bosch is super handy and makes coffee delicious!
I typically skip the breakfast too. But if there are some homemade treats around I cannot help myself and take a bit. 😁
Well I totally get it. Same here. 😁 And plus, there are days I'm having breakfast, especially when traveling. We usually get hotel room with breakfast. 🙈
My husband and I always do room with breakfast. In Leicester City where I'm now visiting, there's the Brooklyn Hotel that serves an amazing buffet breakfast:)
Sounds inviting 😍! I honestly love hotels and breakfast! They work best together, right?
Whats more comforting than waking up in a hotel and have a good breakfast, NOT made by you! 🤣🙄
I hate to miss breakfast, but I'm not so big on lunch. Then I always have dinner:)

Really? Did you try it? Or are you used to add it too? I love it, but definitely it has to be dark cacao.

Sometimes I add it to milkshakes or to milk porridge... but not to the coffee.
(we also have a cocoa substitute - it's called 'Carob' )
Ahhh! well... I add it too in milkshakes, smoothies, oatmeal etc.
And yes, I know about carob and in fact the little one is the one who's aksing for it to every oatmeal. There's no oatmeal without carob and cinnamon.
I would say to add just a bit next time when having coffee. Maybe you'll like it. I especially enjoy it with dark cacao though!
Yeah, a little pastry is always nice with coffee:)

A delicious espresso to start the day with good energy and great spirits. The puzzle thing is interesting, it serves as a de-stressor from the routine and a relaxant to start the day.

Definitely puzzles are perfect to take a break and have a relax moment. My husband or some friends cant really understand me when I say that I love to do puzzles and how solving them really gives me a good mood. More weird is when I say that organizing things relaxes me. For example, cleaning inside kitchen cabinets, dressing room, shoes arraging, etc. I am obssesed organizing things and I find a pleasure to do so.

I love the combination of your coffee ☕ I never used to drink coffee either ☕ but since a while now this black and hot friend has become an excellent choice for my days ☕ I love cocoa and spices like cinnamon and vanilla in my coffee 😊 we have that in common and putting together puzzles 🧩 is also one of my favorite pastimes 😉 excellent choice to start your day 😉
Same here!! I enjoy coffee too much these days and somehow I am afraid to like it for not becoming too adiccted.😁 definitely making puzzles and coffee became a relax time and I like to start my day this way. I'm glad we found out we have this in common! 🧩🧩
Actually, I cant wait go home and finish the new puzzle I got. Lol.
After solving the Jaguar puzzle, I needed something more colorful so I bought this one. I love it. When I left home a few days ago to Poland, I was like "ohhh no. I didnt have time for my puzzle".
And one more thing: I adore vanilla and cinnamon. They are my fav spices, esprcially cinnamon. But for some reason I cant say I love them in my coffee. At times, I buy or make flavored coffee but I found out I like coffee unflavared. With milk!! And a dash of cacao powder some days. 😁

That mocha coffee looks delicious, but I think my stomach couldn't handle just that in the mornings. We need a sandwich 🥪😊
Sometimes I do have breakfast! It depends on the day, what hour I get up or how much time I have! 🙈

If I think about my breakfast is just coffee everyday, as I have a cup as soon as I wake up at 5:30 a.m. and then I will have my first meal like 4-5 hours after that.
Exactly! It's more like a mochaccino. The difference would be that, in my coffee, there isnt chocolate syrup .

It's still dark here at 5:30 a.m. I like to see the first light 😁 It's really peaceful until Paco starts squawking at 6:14 a.m. That parrot has an internal alarm clock!
I bet it is! It's very early! In the summer season, we have light at 5 a.m. already. Not in the winter, ofc. 🙈
Paco sounds adorable though I would hate him every morning until I would get up from bed! I wouldnt handle another "internal alarm clock", other than my 5 years old who wakes up too early. Sometimes even at 5.
Its been 5 years since my sleep is bad...I cant wait to sleep at my own pace.

I would keep in mind for not buying a parrot to my child in case he'll come with this idea. 🤣 now I know how it will be like.
P.S. we have a cat, named Loki. When he sleeps in the house, he never sleeps past 8. So in case we're still sleeping and he starts meuuwwwing, I know it's 8. So definitely know what you mean with cute Paco! 💙
I'm glad to help! Hehe. Paco is an Amazona Amazonica; he's got a temper, you know. Parrots ARE NOT pets; they behave like your life partners, and they will probably outlive you so... Ours is 20 years old now (I've posted his picture some place here in the Coffee Conversation because he has breakfast with us). If he continues to be healthy as he is, he will live another 40-60 years. I've been thinking that he might attend my funeral 😂😢
We have cats and dogs, also tortoises in the backyard--the cats are the only ones allowed in the house--. All animals are good company, depending on the circumstances, but parrots demand a lot of patience and attention. You must keep them company all of the time. You haven't given your son one yet, then phew!

I saw the photo of Paco when I left you a comment earlier, before u mentioning it. And I was like ohh is this a parrot?... he's cute 🐦 having a temper doesnt sounds as cute anymore 😅🤣.
The funeral aluzion was too funny though 🤣.
I dont have the energy ti have a dog at the moment or other pets. 8 cats are just enough. 🐈
