The crypto market is now in doubt.
How are you all? I hope you are well. These days, when you look at the market, your mind gets a little restless, doesn't it? Especially in the crypto market, it is difficult to understand when something happens. Today, I am sharing some news that I feel from various sources and am sharing it in my own way.

Looking at the recent on-chain data, one thing stands out. A big investor in the crypto world, whom we usually call a "whale, has once again taken a large short position against Bitcoin and Ethereum. That is, he thinks that the price will not increase from here, but may go down. This whale first sells some of the Bitcoin he has, then uses the leverage with that money to take a short. Simply put, he is betting that the market will fall.
The most interesting thing is that even when the price was not fluctuating much, he did not reduce his short position. On the contrary, he increased it. This shows that this is not a light trade, but a very confident decision. Currently, his short position in Bitcoin alone is close to $120 million. He also has a separate large short position in Ethereum.
However, the story does not end here. Since the price is a little higher, these positions are not yet fully profitable. Rather, they are at a loss. Still, he has not closed the position. To my eyes, this shows that he is waiting for a bigger move than short-term fluctuations.

The situation on the market side is also not very clear. After the big shock in October, the price turned around a bit, but could not maintain that momentum. Bitcoin is now hovering at a level where there has been a lot of trading before. Will it break this place, or will it fall again from here? That is the big question.
All in all, I think the market is in a tight situation now. When big investors lean short like that, there is a possibility of increased volatility ahead. Which way the price will go in the end will depend on whether it breaks important support and resistance levels or not. For now, it is wise to remain cautious and monitor the situation.
