Pequeños regalos, grandes historias ✨(Esp/Eng)
Hoy ando feliz por muchas razones hehe, quiero compartir algo sencillo, pero que para mí tiene un significado especial. Estoy mostrando mi agendita, un regalo que me hizo mi amiga secreta en Navidad y que por fin voy a empezar a usar con una velita aromática, porque no hay nada mejor que comenzar el año con calma, organización y un aroma rico que invite a escribir planes, ideas y metas 🌸🕯️.
La historia detrás de este regalo es bastante curiosa. El intercambio lo hicimos mediante una app, de esas que prometen hacerlo todo más fácil… pero en mi caso, salió un poquito mal 😅. Resulta que, al principio, me había quedado sin regalo. Sí, literalmente fui la persona a la que el sistema dejó fuera. Obviamente fue un momento incómodo, pero decidí tomármelo con buena actitud. Al final, estas cosas pasan y no todo siempre sale perfecto.
Luego vino otra parte de la historia: recibí un regalo que, aunque fue con buena intención, no era para mí. Era un pantalón talla XL que claramente no me quedaba. Aun así, lo acepté con buena vibra, agradecida, porque sé que muchas veces lo importante no es el objeto, sino el gesto. Siempre trato de quedarme con lo positivo y no amargarme por cosas materiales.
Y cuando pensé que ahí terminaba todo… llegó el buen final 💕. Mi verdadera amiga secreta se dio cuenta de lo ocurrido y decidió volver a hacerme el regalo. Fue un gesto tan lindo que me recordó que la empatía y la intención valen muchísimo más que cualquier cosa. Esta agendita es prueba de eso, y por eso hoy la valoro tanto.
Ahora la estreno con ganas, anotando ideas, pendientes y sueños, acompañada de una velita que hace el momento aún más especial. Son pequeños rituales que hacen la diferencia en el día a día.

Today I'm happy for many reasons, hehe. I want to share something simple, but something that has special meaning for me. I'm showing off my little planner, a gift from my Secret Santa at Christmas, which I'm finally going to start using with a scented candle, because there's nothing better than starting the year calmly, organized, and with a lovely scent that invites you to write down plans, ideas, and goals 🌸🕯️.
The story behind this gift is quite curious. We did the exchange through an app, one of those that promise to make everything easier... but in my case, it went a little wrong. It turns out that, at first, I was left without a gift. Yes, I was literally the person who was left out by the system. Obviously, it was an awkward moment, but I decided to take it in stride. In the end, these things happen and not everything always turns out perfectly.
Then came another part of the story: I received a gift that, although well-intentioned, was not for me. It was a pair of XL pants that clearly did not fit me. Even so, I accepted it with good vibes, grateful, because I know that often it is not the object that matters, but the gesture. I always try to focus on the positive and not get upset over material things.
And just when I thought it was all over... there was a happy ending 💕. My real secret friend realized what had happened and decided to give me the gift again. It was such a lovely gesture that it reminded me that empathy and intention are worth so much more than anything else. This little diary is proof of that, and that's why I value it so much today.
Now I'm excited to start using it, writing down ideas, to-do lists, and dreams, accompanied by a little candle that makes the moment even more special. These are small rituals that make a difference in everyday life.

No hice amigo secreto el año pasado, pero usualmente los odio por lo que dices tú. Sin embargo, recuerdo uno con mucho cariño de cuando estaba en el colegio. En el último año antes de graduarme, una compañera me regaló un porta cassettes para organizar mi música en cassettes (sí, así de viejo estoy). Yo había pedido un cassette de Los Hombres G, que me gustaban mucho, pero ya no habían, así que ella me regaló eso.
