The reserve surprised us again with a Ganoderma we'd never seen before [Esp/Eng].
How are those who visit this beautiful "FungiFridayCommunity": every week to show us the different species of "fungi" found in their habitats? an opportunity we have to learn about the different specimens that exist in other parts of the world

This is one of those ¨fungi¨: which we find quite often here in the reserve, as we know what type of trunk they grow on, when we see branches of this species on the ground, we go to them to see if we are lucky enough to find these beautiful specimens. As you can see, they grow on wood. Because of their texture, I don't think they're edible, and if they are, they must be very difficult to cook due to their texture.

With the weather we were having in this area in recent months, we came across this ¨genre¨ : Fungi that grow on the bark of tree trunks and branches are not a good sign for the tree where they are found.

The surprise the reserve had in store this week was this "genus":. Although it's one of the best known, its shape, texture, and color prevented us from identifying the species. My grandfather consulted his "tool": online, but he still couldn't pinpoint the exact species.

It's good that my grandmother took her ¨phone¨ : "Mobile" and we were able to photograph this "mushroom": in order to investigate, unfortunately we haven't been able to get much information about it

The reserve never disappoints when it comes to mushroom hunting; there are always interesting species to see, like the latest one you've shared with us.
What beautiful photographs!
That's right, the property is great for mushroom hunting; this week it's been very interesting finding the Ganoderma.
Thank you so much, Grandpa.
