Hahaha, that is how it is here in Spain in many places. The canyon is cool, so rocky and rough. And wild!

From the banks of the largest European river and as much water in the surrounding canals, you have moved to the banks of dried riverbeds.
You know how, falling off the edge is not the only danger here, my colleague told me to be careful where I stop, because there are also a lot of snakes. So, you're right, real wilderness 😂
