Welcoming the New Year with New Year Kolam Greetings.

Sweet beginnings with Humanity’s warmth and Goodwill

We all are starting our lives this year and it feels like a fresh start! As the New Year began, there was this joy of hope and goodwill in the air – like they all came forth from the bottom of our hearts!

People wanted to express joy and goodwill – through New Year Wishes – openly, freely with a cheerful spirit. We people were excited to share joy and goodwill amongst us - like igniting Blessings!

This is what I sense every New Year! A pleasant – a vibrating and embracing positive energy.

These movements are beautiful – knitted with warm connections flavored with good will.

Thankyou – for this love, it’s the embrace of Humanity.

Training us to deal with Life’s Eventualities

There’s the dark side – the dark alleys where danger, uncertainty exists – where bad and evil things prey on our kind. Yet, in spite those fears – we need to lead our lives. There is no certainty all will go well.

All we can do is build courage, strengthen our inner resolve, and walk forward with empowering thoughts — so that if any eventuality occurs – we act with courage walking the path of righteousness.

Equipping us to get Mightier daily

Courage and Bravery is a cultivated quality – it would blossom when we believe in ourselves – develop faith in us and train our minds to get tough to walk the rough terrain.

Life is not going to easy and fair, it will pose challenges, obstacles and we would encounter evil. We need to be prepared to deal with life in class – let’s start by building our existing might, which would equip us to handle any situation to our best ability.

Be part of Humanity – doing deeds to make our space a better place to live

We can glow with our radiance to light up our small part of the world, making it a better place to live. We can do this by simply - spreading goodwill and wishing everyone good luck this year.

Let all of us be blessed with strength to deal with our life’s struggles, have courage to do brave deeds, fight fear and break free to go wild experiencing life’s adventures, while also relish those delightful, soft movements in life.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

The New Year Kolam Greeting that inspired my New Year Card!

New Year Kolam Greetings!

My New Year card this year is inspired by this kolam drawn by our housing society’s housekeeping domestic staff member, Saroja Ma, who made the kolam in front of the little temple encloser in our flat compound.

In Indian Tradition – Kolams are drawn to welcome guests and as decorative elements in auspicious occasions like celebrations and festival gatherings.

They adore entrance pathways – drawn with appropriate symbols to add meaning to the Occasion.

They beautiful and charming as they are drawn by hand, crafted with efforts powered by dedication, care and good intention.

Saroja Ma’s “Happy New Year 2026” Kolam greetings feature lit lamps and various floral symbols – they convey messages of hope, joy, courage, beauty, and new beginnings as we all step into the New Year.

Saroja Ma’s style of spreading Happy New Year Greetings through kolam

On the morning of January 1st, Saroja Ma was engrossed making a special New Year kolam. I was nearby exercising and didn’t realize at first what she was creating. Only later did I notice that she was designing a New Year Greeting with her Kolam that was almost complete.

As she was giving her finishing touches to the kolam – I pointed out that Y was missing – her Kollum read “Happ New Year 2026”. She immediately made a hand stroke drawing the Y, receptive to my feedback.

Creating a meaningful New Year Greeting kolam mattered to her and she’s provably made such kolams before, and learned the art enough to draw up meaningful Happy New Year Kolams, even if they are not perfect as she’s no drawing artist.

Saroja Ma’s Kolum - A gesture of Goodwill wishing others to have a Good Year Ahead!

After she left, I took the photo of her New Year Greeting kolam. I used this as New Year Greeting Card to wish everybody, because I did not make a New Year Card then.

Later on, I went and appreciated her that she got good talent. I told her that I used her Kolam as New Year Greetings. She wished so many people a Happy New Year through her Kolam and did a wonderful job. Saroja Ma smiled sweetly and wished me and my family well this New Year.

My Value additions to Saroja Ma’s Kollam Greetings leading to My Happy New Year Card!

My Happy New Year Greeting Card !

I already started my year with unexpected delight. I went down on New Year Day to exercise and got a sweet New Year Greeting Card to wish others. It was perfect.

This inspired me to make a New Year Greeting Card of my own adorning the first page of my writing space, just like kolams adorn entrances.

Saroja Ma’s Greeting card served as how Layer 1 Blockchains do. Her Kolam was sufficient to serve as my New Year Greetings but I build on her Kolam and created my unique Greeting card with my value additions– like a L2 Blockchain dapp built on top of L1. Although I earlier used her Kolam plain as it is to wish others on New Year Day.

My card expends her message wishing everyone Good Luck embedded with goodwill spirit to courageously live your life’s adventures whatever they may be.

Encouraging you to free yourself to live to your potential and attract positive outcomes, facing adversities that may come on the way bravely.

Happy New Year 2026 All!!
