NEWBIE INITIATIVE TASK 1. MY HIVE GOALS FOR THE NEXT TWO MONTHS.

Goals are specific objectives that one strives to accomplish. They can also be said to be the desired outcome that guide our efforts and decisions.

Setting goals are important because, they give a clear direction which in return, helps us to concentrate, stay motivated and achieve success.

What make a goal smart?

In goal setting, there are five keywords to note and they are:

S - specific. In setting goals, you need to define what you want to achieve.

M - Measurable. When I am able to see the quantity of my goals, I will know how much it will take me to be able to track progress.

A - Achievable. My goals must be something I can achieve. This simply means that setting unrealistic goals do not worth it.

R - Relevant. My goals should align with my values, my priorities.

T - Time-bound. Setting a specific time frame for achieving a goal is very important as this would spur me up to achieve my task.

As regarding my hive power, I intend to grow from 19hp to 500hp. It may be hard but I am willing to put my all into achieving this. So, in order to do this, I am going to intensify my presence on hive, comment on other blogs and engage in posts.

I know that getting followers is not a walk in the park and here's what I'll do: I'll post quality content and when they read from me, they'll want to follow me in order to learn more. Currently, I have about 19 followers. The goal is to get to 60 in the next two months.

I intend to comment on authors' post and I am able to do this through the dreemport. Though, asides that, I know I am still expected to do more and I am willing to comment on 10 - 15 authors' post everyday for the next two months. I know this may be really tasking but, growth needs stretching.

I also intend to write 6 times a week. That is, Monday to Saturday. Sunday is not exempted, though. But, it will be on rare occasions.

My goals are smart because, I have measured them well enough to be sure that I am not setting unrealistic goals. I have given myself reasons to show up and reasons to be ready to get to my aspired level.

I've also been taking part in contests and I am willing to join more communities to do more.
