I'm still rather in awe of how much the world had changed since the beginning of this millennium. We may have reached a turning point as big as that of the industrial revolution, in terms of how we do things moving forward. For me it's an unnerving thing, but I guess for the generations who have grown up with the internet it will probably feel quite normal.

Yes, @minismallholding, I agree with this:

If anything, I personally believe it is bigger still. You and I were not alive as that revolution unfolded, however, so if hypothetically someone were alive for both, they would have a base of experience for a comparison we cannot match.

For generations growing up with this new normal, as their only experience, I suppose it would be fair to say the jury is still out, as it is early days. With that said, I hope there is a lot of open, honest discussion, with how that is playing out so far.
