This reminded me of Ted Bundy and his admirers. I guess his looks were what made him able to easily seduce women to do what he did, but when it comes to mass killers, for some women it seems to be their deeds rather than their looks which have them swooning, which is insane. It seems that every mass killer has their own fan club:
