The Minimalist community presents It's More or Less the Best, a curation compilation highlighting some outstanding blogs published over the past week.

These selected authors shared their personal stories and views on different aspects of their minimalist lifestyle, giving some insight into what the style of living involves.

This compilation is presented to help shine the spotlight on the selected posts, with the hope that you will take a look at them in case you missed any.

Outstanding Minimalist Blogs in no particular order.

The Reluctance To 'Be'.

✨"I've been on an unprecedented academic rollercoaster the past few months, and I hope someday I get the strength to talk about it in much detail. However, I always choose to see challenges as stepping stones, and this is one attitude that keeps me going, even in striving times." @wongi

Minimalist Prompt: THE ART OF LISTENING TO YOUR BODY

✨"Our body is always saying something. Maybe because they recognise emotions even before the
minds do. So pay attention to the rhythm of your breathing, the ache in your joints, the flutter in
your stomach, the itch in your palm. In conclusion, pay attention to your body." @nugwaa

TONIGHT I CHOOSE TO LISTEN

✨"In the face of pain, one necessary change that can have a positive influence on my life is ACCEPTANCE. When we feel pain, we are often forced to feel rejected and discouraged. We think all the negative things possible, but then, the moment we accept the pain, everything changes and suddenly becomes a lot bearable." @hopestylist

Caring without losing peace.

✨"The tingling pain in my heart as a result of fear is all I can feel now, funny enough, the fear is not about me, but I’m finding a way to make the fears disappear permanently because it was not supposed to be there in the first place, but I care too much about… others." @storygoddess

What I bring for a trip

✨"In the past, my suitcases were always full of things, different clothing options, and so on. Why? Perhaps it was the pressure to adapt to circumstances, which meant I even took clothes that I didn't wear, but I thought it was okay because it was better to be safe than sorry. However, when I returned, with all that weight, it was really a nuisance to come back loaded down, tired, and full of things that I always wanted to leave behind, so I wouldn't have to carry them." @jemima1996

What if? But if?

✨"I get lost in items very often. Cleanups, packing for a journey, or regular sortings, all these are opportunities for me to be reminded of things that once were. I could pick up a shirt I wore on the day I got to meet someone special, and rather than just smile at the memories, I carry them along, in hopes of remembering that experience forever. Items like these, if I went along with them as their memories seemed to speak to me, just a backpack wouldn’t be enough to fit all the possessions that speak to me. Rather? They’ll be weighing me down with feelings I would do just fine without." @oluchi31

Freedom in a backpack: choosing what truly matters

✨"So Inside the bag I'll place:

A journal and pen: Because I love writing down my stuff, and feeling less weighed.

Essential clothing: Not the trendy ones, just durable and comfortable.

My phone: To stay connected to a few people who truly matter.

I'll also let go of anything toxic in my mind and heart. Letting go of bulky memories that drain my emotions." @madilyn02

If My Life Fits Into One Backpack

✨"I would also leave behind all my emotional baggage, the past experiences that created hidden trauma, disappointments, and all the things that quietly affect my daily life. And I would leave behind my fears. There are so many things I want to do, but fear constantly holds me back; fear of failure, fear of not being enough, fear of not being who I think I am.
In this new world, I want to put myself out there and finally do the things my heart has been whispering to me." @phyna

My seasonal changes and what I carry in my backpack

✨"I started with my work clothes. I have a uniform, so how many shirts do I need? Why do I need 10 pairs of pants? And if I go to an important company, do I want them to see me in faded or outdated clothes? That's where this whole process of letting go of what is no longer for me began: see-through fabrics, sequins, low-cut tops, tight pants. I took out a good amount of these clothes, which I bid farewell to with much love." @florecitamejias

Some additional tips

🔸 The community encourages authors to engage and build rapport with other team members by leaving meaningful comments.

🔸 If possible, we recommend that authors try to use original photos taken by you. Photos count toward the possibility of your post being curated.

🔸 Just a reminder that the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas is presented with ideas on topics to write about and to help you to structure your blogs, they are not meant to be questionnaires for you to list information and publish.

🔸 The presentation of your blog goes a long way and sharing aspects of your lives and your personal stories and experiences should be a lot more than a list that can be found in various places over the web.

🔸 You do not need to wait or only blog in response to the prompts provided. You're free to share any aspect of your minimalist lifestyle at any time.

Thank you for checking out the #MoreOrLessTheBest Curation Compilation presented by The Minimalist. This is the new official community account, where the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas and all community events and activities will be published.
I invite you all to get involved and share your stories about minimalism, and perhaps you would like to invite someone.
