Outstanding Minimalists Blogs in no particular order.

A Minimalist Freak Out?

✨"Thing is, save a penny, you end up spending a penny later on. It's known as false economy - it might seem cheap, but if you're replacing it later due to faults or unhappiness with the product, you've done two things: contributed to the junk in the world and fucking up the environment, or end up paying again." @riverflows

[Let go, learn, move forward, and heal](KISS BLOG IDEAS: WEEK #176/ Let go, learn, move forward, and heal)

✨"A long time ago, I met someone who was the living proof of carrying dark and useless feelings. As if the soul were a backpack, this person took it upon themselves to accumulate resentment, hatred, sadness, and grudges: a host of emotions that, rather than making their life lighter, did what I would call “ruin their existence.” Whenever they could, this person would remember the pain they had felt, the abuse or the negative looks they had received from others. With emphasis and a certain pride, they would say:
“I remember every single one of the sufferings I have endured and who caused them,” they would say, dragging their grudges through life, feeling that their actions hurt the other person and not themselves." @nancybriti1

Without the burden of resentment

✨"To give you some context, I am the oldest of four siblings. My younger sister is ten years younger than me, a whole decade. When she was born, she became my real-life doll. I have loved her dearly since the first day she came home, and from then on, my love for her grew by leaps and bounds. Her first words, her first steps, the start of school—all of these stages were so beautiful to me." @abisag

15 Minutes of Yoga: Health Benefits

✨"One of my fears was long neck. My posture when I’m editing videos (which is what I do most of the time now) is not good. I have yet to get a comfortable chair. Some poses in yoga is tailored to deal with this daily, to correct posture." @deraaa

Shifting from Materialism to Fulfillment

✨"Decluttering frees up both physical space and also emotional and mental space.
It leaves me focusing on experiences, growth and relationships, having more time for he people I love and more energy to sew and create nice stuff.
So I know the kind of life I want to live and it's not one that is filled with materialism. It's the purpose driven life, a life where I'm really in charge and not the other way round." @madilyn02

Obstruction of the necessary

✨"As I grew, and accumulated more items, I soon realized how unnecessary most of these things were. These were things I no longer had use of but kept around. Gradually, I began to do away with them. I would dedicate time to clearing my personal space and throwing away things that I had no need for. I always believed in cherishing memories but in the process, weighed myself down. My cupboards were always filled up. My tables were always a mess, thanks to the unnecessary obstructing the necessary." @oluchi31

Quietly Letting Go.

✨"Three months in the apartment, I didn't touch any of my belongings. I actually love the memories I got from seeing the old shoes on the rack, sitting idle like artifacts. It was nice getting to know where my chair and table are. I can jump on my bed even in the dark, and there are a lot of plates that I hardly use in the kitchen, too." @abdul-qudus

Decluttering as a Lifestyle

✨"In my space, I prefer that it’s spacious, free of unnecessary items because cluttered spaces have a way of clouding my brain, hence limiting my productivity. In fact, in a cluttered space, my brain practically remains at 0% until I fix it. That’s why I hate to visit people because I don’t want to be tagged “too know”, however, this is my brother, so it was easy to fight him to succumb to my ways." @storygoddess

Lol, My Handwriting Brought Me Back to Myself (IRONIC, I know)

✨"Funny enough, writing by hand feels completely different from typing on my phone or laptop. It’s slower, yes. Always messy. My handwriting has always been unimpressive; my parents used to joke that I’d become a doctor, ha ha. Jokes on them oh coz my career path took me through medical school but not a medical course 😆" @whatmidesays

New Series on my Blog | Project Pan | First Step to Becoming a Minimalist :)

✨"So, I have stumbled upon a video explaining the Project Pan, and got interested in it. It is basically a "project", where you do not buy any cosmetics until you finish the ones you already have. For example, if you have 4 shower gels, you finish all of them, and then buy a new one, even if you know that your favourite one is already empty. I thought it was a great idea, so let me give it a try!" @aleximprovement

Decluttering Isn’t Something I Do, It’s Who I Am

✨"There was a time I had books piled up on the table, and there was no space. Every time I looked at the books, I felt guilty. Books are always scattered, including the ones I do not need at that moment. I actually planned on reading them all, but you see, I cannot read everything at the same time.
Decluttering helps me face the reality: I don’t have to keep them sitting on the table every time; I can only enjoy what truly matters. So, I took out the ones that weren’t useful while the essentials were kept." @princessbusayo
