This compilation is presented to help shine the spotlight on the selected posts, with the hope that you will take a look at them in case you missed any.
Outstanding Minimalists Blogs in no particular order.
Caring for Yourself Doesn't Have to be Complicated or Costly
✨"One of the things I focus on in my diet the most is ingesting immune-boosting foods.
One way I obtain this without a steep price tag is by making fire cider. An Indigenous gem, this drink is filled with probiotics and packs a punch when viruses hang around! I recently fought off a nasty bug by taking a few shots of this a day, it is one of my favourite natural remedies!" @grindan
The Shirt Off My Back
✨"I think life out of a backpack could be feasible (for me) provided I was going to one place, or at least places with a similar climate. My 30kg suitcase accommodated everything from summer heat waves to the dead of winter, which might explain the weight problem." @honeydue
MINIMALISM INSPIRED BY HOARDERS.
✨"My dad is quite a Handyman, a do-it-yourselfer or something like that. He is creative, and innovative and enjoys trying out new things. whenever something got broken, he always tried to figure out ways to fix it.
He would always admonish us not to throw away most things. We (my siblings and I) didn’t like it; to us, they were nothing but trash. Sometimes, we secretly disposed some things but his disapproval was quite strong." @lizizoo
Trying to decorate our Home in a black theme, the minimalist way.
✨"When I was still a teenager, pink was my favourite colour I even dreamed of having a pink house. Maybe because it's the colour of Barbie and every girl loves it. Since I didn't have stuff my parents couldn't afford, it took time before I overcame that stage. Then, during my college days, I used to stay in my cousin's house and I had a wow feeling as it was painted in PINK! Her daughter's favourite colour." @lhes
THE MINIMALIST IN ME : A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
✨"Everything I took just fitted in perfectly into my bag, and that was how I was able to survive through three months with just a week’s backpack, and trust me, I would have also used that same backpack for a whole year, and if I would have needed anything more, it would be money." @hopestylist
My backpack contents for a year
✨"Here in Africa and Nigeria, especially, a week's travel is often laden with loads of items, and commonly, for our women, their boxes are mostly filled. Perhaps this is just the way our women are wired, but for the men, it's often a simple load, except for the meticulous or overly concerned type. However, on a personal note, having a backpack of items for a year would be difficult, but not impossible." @jjmusa2004
Some tips
🔸 The community encourages authors to engage and build rapport with other team members by leaving meaningful comments.
🔸 If possible we recommend that authors try to use original photos taken by you. Photos count toward the possibility of your post being curated.
🔸 Just a reminder that the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas is presented with ideas on topics to write about and to help you structure your blogs, they are not meant to be questionnaires for you to list information and publish.
🔸 The presentation of your blog goes a long way and sharing aspects of your lives and your personal stories and experiences should be a lot more than a list that can be found in various places over the web.
🔸 You do not need to wait or only blog in response to the prompts provided. You're free to share any aspect of your minimalist lifestyle at any time.
Thank you for checking out the #MoreOrLessTheBest Curation Compilation presented by The Minimalist. This is the new official community account, where the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas and all community events and activities will be published.
I invite you all to get involved and share your stories about minimalism, and perhaps you would like to invite someone.
