This Is Me!!

We all have a certain uniqueness in our personalities that attracts people towards us to build a connection or work on the opposite. Speaking about myself, I am pretty much a calm and straightforward person, I don't like hassles, and love to stay quiet and within my comfort zone. Stuck between the process of being an introvert from an extrovert, yeah.

"Personality has power to uplift, power to depress, power to curse, and power to bless."
-- Paul P. Harris

So one of the personality traits that I feel proud of myself for is having the instinct of speaking something straightforward. Yeah, I believe that this should be practiced among all of us and take it easily, many get offended but this is what it is, accept the truth.

From the beginning of my maturity, I have been like this, most of my friends respect me a little more just because of this, they trust me as well for more than anything else. This habit keeps things simple and easy to handle, you say what's right or wrong, and the person in front of you would accept it or not, no extra fuss to stick with.

But this personality of being straightforward has some high penalties to pay as well. Sometimes with some people, you may see that being a little bit sweeter could have been better, giving back the raw taste kinda affected your relationship with that person. Not everyone can digest straightforward answers easily, they expect sweet conversation even when it’s a no-brainer to sugarcoat the facts. It's just their mentality that takes it negatively that the person is being rude. It spoiled many friendships of mine, just because I replied on their face with facts where they were absolutely wrong.

The other one is my silence which comes with sudden anger. I prefer silence over anything. There will be hardly any situation where I am shouting. Let’s keep aside those exceptions and go with the overall flow. I have always been a good listener as well as an observer. I would ignore a lot of things to avoid disputes among the near and dear ones. This has been surely fruitful for me, I have avoided lots of unnecessary drama, and let go of things that didn’t matter much to me. But sometimes when I get angry are the moments that take a long time for me to cool down.

So the positivity is that I get fewer things to deal with, and fewer things to waste my energy. Also, I feel like, the calmer or silent I stay, the less I am getting exposed which is a concern for someone who is very concerned about privacy.

About the side effects of this particular personality trait? Oh man, don't ask. I have missed lots of extracurricular activities as I am not so active in mixing with anyone. Being silent many would underestimate you, and sometimes your own people would misunderstand you in many ways unless you get success. On top of that when sudden anger gets added, you better not ask the consequences. Being an adult who has just stepped into his adult life has already turned out to be super hard and on top of this, this particular instinct made me an introvert in their eyes that they take negatively. I have heard a lot about this, for them, being silent is a weakness but I am desperate to break the silence with my success.

I wish to be more talkative and good at anger management than the current state, being this amount of silence has thrown me away from the masses, finding it hard to participate in general discussions or stuff like that.

So yeah, this is me, good bad, or the worse, these are my personality traits of m that I am proud of and would love to stick with.

I also become silent when I’m angry but that’s only because when I talk I’ll cry pso I choose to just keep quiet.
And no, being silent is to any weakness, it’s rather powerful

Yeah, it's powerful, especially to those who understand the value of it. I prefer silence on top of unnecessary violence.

Thank you for stopping by.

I also prefer silence over anything. You hardly see me shout or make noise maybe when I’m angry or trying to boast on what I have
I always love to stay lowkey and silent but my achievements should speak for me
