Noble Thoughts

Moral sayings may look like they don't work every time we think of them. Whether they work or not, we shouldn’t stop practising them. This is what makes us human, makes the world worth living. Often I practise them without any hope of getting back anything and sometimes I do get rewards unwillingly, sometimes instant rewards and sometimes in another form. Whatever it is, we should be focused on our moral values.

I am travelling to Dhaka, two and half hours of journey from here. As I planned at the last moment, I wasn’t getting any tickets available with a seat. I had to purchase a ticket from the starting point to the end to get a seat, paid three times more than my actual destination fare. So I thought of sharing this with someone who is coming from the starting point and would leave me my seat when I board. He would pay me for that. Spending three times the fare, this was the first thing that struck me. Later, I dropped the idea. I let the seat stay vacant for whoever gets to sit there. Will be travelling almost five hours at that seat, could be someone who was supposed to be standing throughout the whole journey. So surely he/she would make some prayings for me, lol.

It's the journey date, someone close to me has joined me to travel. I gave that person my seat and took a standing seat for me. Almighty looked at me, there were people like me who also purchased the ticket from the starting point to the end and wanted to get down midway. So when I was on the train, standing there, someone called me and gave me his seat before getting down to his destination. So amazing!! I thought he had gone to the washroom or given it to me for some time. But it's been an hour and no sign of him, and there isn't any stoppage as long as I don't reach my destination, he got down before that for sure.

Isn't it a miracle that I thought for someone else to sit on my seat while I wont be there and thus I got someone else's seat too who isn’t here anymore to sit. Both of us got the peace of helping others. Maybe he will be rewarded in another way for sure. Allah knows the best. So never leave any opportunity to help mankind, it will come back to you for sure.

Wrote this while travelling on the train, got instant rewards for my noble thoughts, motivated me to do so more and more. Spreading this with a hope that it will work like sparkle and you guys will practise these too for the betterment of mankind.
