Battles with New Rulesets ~~ Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!
Hello amazing people on Splinterlands, how are you all?
Well there seems to be some new addition on splinterlands. The problems of being a noob is that you don't get the opportunity to explore all the new things, perhaps the new cards, or high tier staff. Well, that's what it is, I do understand as well.
This time, I am seeing some new ruleset in play, atleast i didnt come across before. So this week, I brought some battles, two out of three are some new rulesets for me to explore.
So without any further delays, lets move ahead and see the battles that I got for this week.
Battle - 1: Same But Different
Ruleset: Holy Protection
- All units have Divine Shield (ignores all damage once, after which the Divine Shield is destroyed).
- Divine Shield will be re-applied when a unit is Resurrected.
-Blast damage will remove divine shield.
We both got the same summoner and tank, the go-to-go combo to start with. Placing a scavenger with flying ability was a good move indeed but i got some better cards to play there. Pallus is one of the most favortie monsters for me from the beginning, and they did their part to secure me the victory.
Battle - 2: Masterplan
Ruleset: Shades of Gray
- You can only summon neutral units.
Here the mana limit is at 12, very low, also the neutral monsters can be used only. So what I did, I went with a no attack monsters and paired with weapon training monster so that I get the magic attack, also I got the extra magic attack from my summoner. And the tank also had the ability to increase the speed of the friendly monsters so I got to attack first, lol. These combined made the way towards victory easier still it was a hard one and the Elanor Bravefoot made the way easier.
Battle - 3: Magic of Mgaic
Ruleset: Heavy Metal
- You can only summon armored units.
Here we go again, low mana and only armored units to call for battle. Did the same stragey, got an no attack monster that had decent stat to be my tank and got +1 magic attack from Moxian Rebel that had weapo training ability and another +1 due to the summoner. My opponent came with one which had -1 melee for my melee monsters, well move but i got saved as i had magic in my mind. For these low mana battles i mostly went with magic and save my ass to gain victory.
