#WednesdayWalk... from the beach β‘
Hello everyone! π How's your week going? π€
I am so happy to be joining in this week's Wednesday Walk again after a long while...
I am sharing with you today my captures during a recent walk from the beach with my sister.
We took a public transport to go to the beach because we wanted to get there before it gets too hot. But we both made a deal to walk back home. π The beach if I am correct is around 2kilometers away from home.
It was actually a pleasant morning that when I got out of my front door, a cool breeze had welcomed me and that energised me a lot. π₯°
The first two photos below, we were heading towards the beach. It was very inviting...
And from this photo onwards (below) we left the beach heading towards the palm trees... through some more trees, and into the back of the Capitol grounds where the WWII artifacts are on display. They had been around since I can remember.
The government is preserving them to remind us apparently of the great sacrifice our forefathers did to regain freedom.
That white structure on the background is the back side of the Capitol Building where the governor's office is.
We're now in front of the Capitol Building. And I quite like this shot with the clear blue sky.
And we walked through this path where the statue of a governor who served our province for decades is standing.
I can imagine these arch outdoor lighting giving light at night. I'm sure they're beautiful when they're all on to light the surrounding area at night time.
We crossed the road and walked on the boulevard through the trees that made our walk very pleasant along with a little breeze.
Pink, white and yellow frangipani trees were planted around among the palm trees, fire trees, and other tall trees.
Then we're off the boulevard a few meters short to get to its tip (entrance/exit) for home.
It was a very pleasant walk. I wish we could do it often.
Big thanks for the visit and support. Have a fantastic Wednesday, everyone! π€π―π«π’π₯
I also enjoyed the walk from the beautiful photos here.
Nice one, I look forward to more walk from your page.
Aww, so happy to know that. Thank you very much. πΉπΉ
