La vida de una carabina en Madrid del 1880 no es lo que imaginarias, un trabajo que se siente casi efímero, por su corta duración (sí haces bien tu trabajo), conseguirle a las jóvenes un buen pretendiente, acompañarlas en el cortejo,y conseguir que le matrimonio se lleve a cabo,no es precisamente un trabajo tan largo y estable ,es por esto que la señorita Elena Bianda ha fichado a sus próximos clientes ,nada más que las hijas del viudo Mencias, un comerciante de buena familia y posición, que con tres hijas ,son la oportunidad perfecta para ofrecerle un trabajo estable durante los siguientes años,y la comodidad de un hogar en donde establecerse, mientras concreta el matrimonio de las tres. Lejos de sus fantasías lo que no se esperaba Bianda, es que estás señoritas no se lo pondrán nada fácil ,con retos y desafio que no paran ,Bianda tendrá que demostrar que no solo es la mejor carabina, sí no escapar de un pasado que la persigue a dónde va, y de un amor imposible.

La serie cuenta con una producción sumamente dedicada ,en donde cada pequeño detalle fue pensado y estudiado, sí debo destacar lo que más me gustó, no fue tanto la historia (que de por sí está muy buena) sí no la preciosa edición y estética que le supieron dar a esta serie , de alguna forma ,puedes ir y compararla con algo parecido a Bridgerton, pero acá trataron de darle un toque divertido y fresco haciendo una protagonista que va intercalando con la voz del narrador y que va rompiendo la cuarta pared para ir interactuando con nosotros, el público, esto me recordó demasiado a fleabag ( si no lo has visto ,por favor, cierra este post y ve a verla,!!!!!!!) Elena es muy divertida e inteligente y a veces hasta demasiada cínica, que hace que sea un mezcla muy ingeniosa al sobreponerla con las situaciones tan conservadoras de la época. Otro punto a favor es la belleza de la estética y combinaciones de paletas de colores tirando mucho más a colores pasteles o primaverales que llaman la atención y hace que te quedes mirando cada cuadro de la escena, otra cosa super a destacar es la hermosura de los vestuarios, teniendo el contexto de que es necesario para el cortejo entre las señoritas y los jóvenes cortesanos , bailes ,citas y eventos, los vestuarios son un elemento muy importante para creerte que la época y todo este mundo de bailes ,coqueteos y cortejos antiguos. A parte de esto me gusto mucho la manera de contarnos la historia,con ediciones e intervenciones que van a remarcar y darle un toque cómico y casi de cuento a las interacciones de los personajes agregando textos, ilustraciones y efectos en medio de las escenas que nos ayudan a entender mucho más todos estos pensamientos de Elena, me recordó mucho a la serie de Clark( también en Netflix,la historia que cuenta el origen del síndrome de Estocolmo) que también manejaba un tipo de ediciones e intervenciones a cada escena ayudando al protagonista a romper la cuarta pared y que como resultado hace que la serie sea muchísimo más interesante.

Un punto a favor de la serie en cuanto a la historia es su increíble e interesante protagonista, Elena Bianda no es un señorita mojigata de la alta sociedad, es una mujer entre sus últimos 20's y comienzo de los 30's que en esa época ya debería estar casada y con hijos o dedicándose a la casa, sin embargo ella se dedica a su trabajo de carabina , donde estudia quien le convendría mejor a quien ,y crea una especie de juego de ajedrez ,moviendo piezas para formar las parejas, aquí lejos de mostrarnos una institutriz remilgada y de mente cerrada ,tenemos a una protagonista fuerte e independiente ,muy inteligente, perspicaz , y experimentada, que se maneja con mucha propiedad entre la alta sociedad de esta época, vemos cómo le analiza cada acción en relación a la difícil situación que la pone la hermana mayor de los Mencias, Cristina y su fallido prometido que la deja en una situación bastante comprometedora y Bianda lidia con ellos lo mejor que puede. Tambien está la dinámica y química que va desarrollando con Santiago, el joven escritor ,ahijado del Viudo Mencias, estos diálogos e interacciones fueron mis favoritos, como Elena siempre termina respondiéndole a las provocaciones con inteligencia y reto , que lejos de fastidiarlo solo lo hacen sentirse más atraído 🩷✨ yo la verdad no estaba muy segura de este potencial shipp pero a medida que pasan los episodios me ganaron,que puedo decir sapiosexuales coqueteandose con inteligencia son mi debilidad.🎀💅.

También me agrada que supieron crear personajes con historias secundarias igual de interesantes que los principales, el personaje de la hermanita menor con su toque oscuro y gótico me encantó, todo muy al estilo de los animes, o también la historia de la hermana del medio que solo quiere hacer su carrera en medicina y ser una profesional contrario a la tradición de esos tiempos de dedicarse solamente a un matrimonio, ilustran bastante bien las otras caras y limitaciones de las mujeres en esa época, También se lleva un aplauso por incluir una historia ente dos chicas en esos tiempos y hacerla con tanta química entre las protagonistas, que también expone como podían ser repudiadas por algo así en ese sociedad.

Algo que me gustó bastante fue la forma en que van soltando poco a poco toda la información sobre el pasado de Elena y está tragedia que vivió y como la situación de Cristina pudo ponerla en una situación en donde se sentía algo identificada, por otro lado el personaje que menos me gustó fue Cristina , entiendo que Elena no fuera sincera por algunas situaciones que se van dando con Santiago, pero Cristina fue bastante oportunista y luego me pareció que termina juzgando a Elena por mentir como sí ella no hubiera sido una cínica mentirosa también , en fín cosas de chicas ricas, el final me pareció perfecto, amo la angustia así que me gustó mucho que la serie terminará en una especie de final abierto, porque esto nos deja todo un camino libre para un desarrollo de la segunda temporada, resolviendo los conflictos está vez la segunda hermana, y viendo como será que la señorita Bianda vuelva a la familia Mencias luego de quedar tan mal , y posiblemente el regreso de Santiago, o incluso un nuevo prospecto amoroso para ella.

Esperemos que le vaya bien y a Netflix no le de por cancelarla , me pareció una muy buena producción con una historia original y divertída, le doy un 4,8/5 ⭐ , así que si te gusta este tipo de series de época,no puedes perderte está!
