Christmas holidays in Reggio Calabria
With Mary, we spend these Christmas holidays between Reggio Calabria, to Mary’s family and Alberobello with some friends.
Here I am going to share some adventures from the first period, in Reggio Calabria, from 22nd to 30th December.
Here is me, with Cocò, the new dog that Mary’s family took to replace the previous dog (that was named Joy) that died in a house-accident. This dog was always madly happy and joyful at me, always looking for some snuggles, playing together and sleeping on my legs. I definitely enjoyed his presence, even while trying to perform some Yoga Asanas for a video :D
And here is one of the numerous matches I played at checkers while we were there. Over about 20 matches I lost none, even I do not have a real strategy yet, but I simply play on a rational level, foreseeing on average 2-3 moves each time.
And here was the amazing Christmas tree that Mary’s family created with all the gifts underneath and Cocò guarding it!
Here below a picture of me and Mary, in the inflated picture-place where her and my mum insisted to make a picture of us :D
Close to where they live in Reggio Calabria, there is a small village (very small village), that every year creates the Christmas nativity scene made of rags and old clothes. Even if it’s the same every year, I love going to watch it as it reminds me the simplicity of faith, how poor stuffs can be re-used and so on.
Therefore, even this year Christmas holidays went great in Reggio Calabria and of course, food could not be missed and I will dedicate an article to it, as the food this year was very abundant!
