The Return of Cold War Tensions

There is one thing that frightens me the most, which is the Cold War. I have never experienced war before, although seeing war in movies seems interesting. Lately, when I was watching so many kids' stories about Israel or even Ukraine's war, I got so emotional that I almost shed tears. All we want is peace. In this world, everyone can live together, whether black, white or asian or even Chinese, where there is no discrimination or interracial barrier.

Back then when i was in school we were taught about the world war 2 that happend in 1939 to 1945, how the conflict began and ended and also the civil war that took place in my country on 1967 to 1970, the story line made me hate war back then especially when we nwere being showed of pictures of a lot of young men suffering, i felt really emotional back then. Nobody likes war, but the truth is sometimes when I read in the news and reason why a war is happening, I kind of ask myself, is this really worth it, if the reason was really worth killing many lives and vandalising homes with missiles and bombs that took years to build?

What prompted this topic was the ongoing war that just got settled by Trump two days ago between Iran and Israel, the war was more serious than I expected. I saw Iranian missiles moving like rain in the sky toward Israel. War is really dangerous. I can even imagine how many lives were lost during this war. I tried to read several reasons for the start of this war, and honestly, no genuine reasons. Different people come up with different stories on social media, and I am probably used to checking the news on social media.

I have watched several Social media Videos of mothers and children crying, and also family in trouble, really hurt me deeply. No country loves to go to war except they are not at peace with itself. All we wanted was peace and not war. It is sad to see how people burst into tears during war. I can't even imagine if Trump hadn't stepped in what the war would have led to, only God knows if it would have led to World War, because I read it when Iran went to Russia for help and Putin said, 'This is not my war'. Iran knows they can't fight with the USA army, and they saw that all the USA wanted was for world peace and peace to rain. Special thanks to Trump, he is really a great president, if it were Kamala in the seat during this time, only god knows what would have happened by now.

Presently, every country is bleeding either within or outside against another. My country is bleeding from local terrorist groups like Boko haram and Fulani herdsmen, even though we are not at war with any country. I have seen what war can do to homes and families. It's really dangerous, and I don't pray for such experiences.
