Social Media Marketing: The Best Way to Increase Sales.

This has made my generation have a high interest in social media and networking, seeing the potential it has in it and how much money most people have gained from it. One of the major advantages I notice social media has really played in this generation is the aspect of publicity, whereby everyone gets to see what you want them to buy, making it easy to get to the public rather than physical advertisement.

I have once engaged in a course sponsored by Google Digital Marketing, majorly based on marketing, and we were engaged on the various advantages of social media marketing and to see the major profit in it. It is a very versatile course because we were engaged on the use of Google ads, SEO, which is Search engine optimisation, marketing statistics and various others. It took me time to understand this, but it gave me a good knowledge of how good marketing strategies should be done.

Social media makes networking with buyers and customers easy because they just get to order what they want or picture up a location to get what they want, unlike physical appearance that requires you to go there to ask what you want. I enjoy buying most of my things online, and I also encourage people to do so, but looking further, there are some major disadvantages of social media, which are a high rate of scammers. So many people tend to take advantage of this act, Facebook Marketplace, for example. I am not trying to defame the media, but there are a lot of fake people on this page, probably because Facebook does not go through verification before advertising. I know of a friend that have been scammed on this page trying to buy a Television for his home, which is why we must be observant and careful when engaging in anything.

People tend to use influncers to market their product, influencers are men and women with higher followers and bigger engagement, this calls for audience of the people on the right thing to do, if i was to start up my brand with low income this will be part of my budget because they help you put it to the world to see and they also get their own gains too. Creating valuable content for the audience to see and enjoy.

I see social media as the future for sales because it makes everyone a seller and buyer, also, whereby we/ get to see our old used items or things we get tired of using or staying with, either, house, chairs, clothes or anything. It is really painful how some ignorant people take advantage of this space to fraud people or scam people online through sales, which is why we must learn to increase our security system and internal bodies to engage more in media monitoring to fish out every catfishing account.

My experience as a marketer is not really versatile, but my advice is for people to utilise this opportunity and engage more in the online community. When looking forward to engaging in marketing, this can help increase sales.
