REFLECTION ON MY BETTER HALF

Having someone to live and care for you is one of the greatest thing in life that a person can ever have. How can we explain about love when we are yet to experience it. Here is my reflection on how I met a lady who made my hard hearted mind melt down for me to experience what a true love means. During my younger days I see love as a playful unrealistic phenomena that everyone wants to engage in, I felt so idealistic on the wrong understanding of what love is. Generally I know love main purpose is to bring peace and unity among everyone of diverse understanding and tribalism. I had no denial of general love which includes loving everyone for the soil purpose of unity but when it comes to relationships love and having a partner
I felt it was just a mere decision until I encounter true feelings and care from someone I met during my Nysc ( National youth service commission). The National youth service commission is a program organized in Nigeria for every graduate to engage in, and it has been a compulsory application for everyone to engage in since 1973 for the soul purpose of unity. Here everyone engage in 3 weeks military training in camp to be a Qualified graduate in Nigeria 🇳🇬. This was my first encounter with my better half. Her beauty caught my eyes up , which I had to work up to her and introduce my self, from there we became close. We eat together in camp, play together, joke together and a lot more. At first I thought of it as being close friendship but along the line I saw this was more than just being a friend. It is true when they say love starts from friendship. It is through friendship we can be able to define who our true partner is and will be. Here is our first picture together in camp

We had wonderful unforgettable experience during this Nysc camp days and month. The Nysc lasted for a year and we were never far from eachother. We spent most times going out having fun seeing good places and engaging in games until we completed our one year program. Then A year was like 10 years for fun together because I was with the right partner. She really made me feel I was not alone in this world and I also made her feel that way also by supporting her and caring for her. Here is a picture of us together after we completed our nysc program.

Never for once have I ever felt this comfort in a person. I share my daily experiences with her, she’s also funny, she makes me laugh and mostly motivates the best out of me. Sometimes I feel like the luckiest man ever having someone that truly cares and love me the way I am.

In my early days I never for once had a thought of True love, Marriage, Deep feelings, I was careless in thought of this even though everyone around me try’s to enlighten me about love.
A good partner is a significance of love and care, a true definition of what how emotional feelings is being felt. From the way she speaks, walk, cracks joke, laugh, and plays you will never find any fault because your feelings and intentions are true for her.

I will encourage everyone that finding a partner that expresses love, care and makes you feel emotional is the best thing that can ever happen to someone life. We all need someone to care for us and make us feel the we are important in this world to avoid cases of depression or emotional damages.

My advice on the tips on how to maintain your love with your partner for a good marriage and healthy relationships from my relationships experience are;

1. Always give him/her attention
2. Avoid Arguments
3. Always communicate well
4. Do no hide secrets
5. Plan dates and surprises
6. Always be aware nobody is perfect
7. Respect your partner
8. Plan for a good future together
9. Always appreciate the little things evn though they are not your expectations
10. Create a space time for both of you to share and correct yourself.
