Reflecting On Vaccination

If Vaccines Work, Why Do Vaccinated People Still Get Sick?, my first time hearing this word was from my lecturer back in my university days during the 19th COVID-19 pandemic. Researching online, there are so many conspiracies surrounding the word vaccination. I am not against using vaccines because they help to reduce the risk of illness, but most people don't take vaccinations seriously, especially in my country.

One major reason why I see vaccines as very important is in the aspect of newborn babies. These vaccines help make the babies immune to fight against bacteria or germs around that may cause illness, but the major problem I have is that most people don't take this vaccination seriously because of their ignorance. Most people see vaccination as less Important or useless, especially for illnesses for which drugs exist.

My first ever vaccination I wi@ness in my life was the COVID-19 vaccination. I can't really remember if I took the vaccine when I was little, but I remember vividly that I took the COVID-19 vaccine then, and it was like hell after using it because I fell seriously timey sick for a long time. The truth is, vaccines are really important because they prepare our system to fight against viruses and experiences like this.

People must learn to adapt to vaccination, and I see it as important. At first, I was always against vaccination; I saw it as very unimportant, especially in our day-to-day lifestyle. The goal of a vaccine is to prepare our immune system against any bacteria or illness ahead. I believe vaccination is one of he best scientific research ever made or discovered.

Based on my personal observations, I feel vaccination should be given to children rather than adults at this stage because at this stage, they have a strong immune system to fight any illness. Adults, however, cannot withstand any illness for a particular time or period. Especially for 0-3 years, vaccination should be more concentrated on this aspect.

Vaccination, too, can be dangerous for people. During the pandemic, I heard some people died from vaccination because a lot of people fell sick, and it was really hard for their bodies to fight the illness by this time. I researched online and I couldn't find anything against vaccines, but vaccines can be dangerous based on my experience. This is why I said vaccines should be more focused on children than adults.

Vaccination is the best and safest preventive measure, but can it stop illness from happening, or can it make the body stronger? No, the only thing vaccines do is prepare the body and immune system to fight against all kinds of illnesses that may be waiting for it.

One of he major reasons I will only notice the Impotence of vaccination is that when there is no cure for an Illness or disease, then we can notice vaccination to be very important in this aspect.

This is my entry to Hivelearners weekly prompt, week 175 episode 2.

Maybe it's a complicated question "why do people who have received vaccinations still get sick?" Yes, maybe vaccination is a preventive measure but it cannot completely prevent and fight disease viruses.
