Parenting Together: Beyond Gender Equity

We all strive for a world where both genders, male and female, are treated equally with fair rights and respect. In situations like this, it can really have a positive impact on the growth of the economy and both males and females can work with equity without any stress or problem.

Every day, watching social media, I keep hearing whether males and females can be equal. I once watched a sport that consisted of both male and female, and trust me, from what I watched, the guy was holding back,, probablybecause he didn't want to injure the lady, which is understandable.

I don't believe men and women can be equal, one will have to be superior or submissive to the other, depending on the relationship between them. Based on Cultural beliefs and also theological histories written, women are considered inferior to men, which is why they have to be submissive to men. It was the advancement of the economy that started to bring so many women to the limelight. I still know of some cultures in my country that treat women like slaves, but I can never do such to my woman because I believe in love and experiences.

I believe in the economy and modern world, gender equality can exist, but there are limitations to what gender equality can achieve. Based on tech, medicals, there can be gender equality, because I have seen so many women making big waves in this industry, but based on sports and Mechanical or building, I don't think there can be gender equity in this career aspect because it has high risk and requires serious energy. In sport, I watched a male and female wrestle, and trust me, the male was holding back in my eyes because their strengths didn't even look equal at all. Also, in the mechanical aspect, there are limits to where they can engage a woman in work like this. I once worked in a factory, and when it comes to working at heights, they move back or ask the lady to wait because it can be really risky for them, especially when it comes to carrying heavy stuff at heights. In mining, too, it is rare to see a lady miner because the work requires vigorous energy.

I love topics like this and the arguments that come with them because it is always engaging and attracts a lot of opinions and experiences, but the truth is, there can't be gender equality because of so many physical and mental differences. Men are born to lead and control, women can also lead, but there are limitations, and she will still need a man to support her decisions.

My parents raised me to understand that as a father I need to always rule my home and support my home regardless of whatever might happen, and I learnt this from my dad. My mom made me understand that a woman needs to be submissive to their husband always. This is my understanding and experience about gender equality
