My Old Timeless Perfect Song
I remember when I was young, my dad does play this song, sometimes alongside some other songs, I did not really like the song because I was too small to understand the lyrics and how deep it is. Recently I came across it on Twitter when someone talked about it as one of the best old songs he ever listened to, I listened and it was like I felt it deep, and the instruments were just too deep, I felt like heaven on earth.
The song made me remember my crush back then, the lyrics were too deep and I had to replay it to reflect on it and how I can relate with it. I replayed this song 7times. So many good musicians existed in those days and our present generation has a lot to learn from their lyrics, lifestyles, and also the instrumental that sounded like heaven on earth. The song looks simple but then you calm down to listen to it deep and get to understand it's deeper than we think it is.
Songs are a way we share and express our thoughts, I wasn’t alive when this experience happened but it felt so real to be listening to this song, a lot of people must have gone through a lot, and this is one of the reasons I fear being black and leaving my country. At that age then, they must have gone through a lot.
I remember my first time hearing this good music i was in my basic 4, it was like a heavenly song then, and almost all of us were singing it including my uncles and teachers, holding hands together and dancing with pretty smiles on our faces. This song talks about unity and it is a real song that transformed the world, even though we are black or white we must unite together and be happy with each other. Unity is the only way to peace, and if we are united and work together we will be happy with each other. Life is all about peace and unity regardless of our racial color or experience we must join together to work things out for our future generations to avoid future fights and arguments.
The world needs to be a better place, kidnapping needs to be reduced, the killing of innocents for selfish greed needs to be reduced, and we all need to work together to make everything a better place. I love being in a unified friendship, group, or community just like a hive, where we all get to support each other in everything we do every day.
This song sounds so simple but it is deeper than what we think it is, African queen is a song by 2face and I remember when this song came out then it was trending seriously, this song talks about true love feeling, I once felt the urge to love but now it is all gone. The feeling of love can be really strong I felt like heaven blessed me with this feeling and I feel so happy with the feeling then but it's all gone now.
Songs can be so powerful that they can shape our thoughts into good ones and make us feel alive, the type of songs we listen to can define our kind of personality and lifestyle, to be honest.
