My Favorite Summer Memories
My childhood days are one of the most cherished experience of my life. I remember my dad would carry me on his shoulder and swing me up above his head with a lot of smiles on his face. Growing up comes with a lot of responsibilities as an adult, sometimes I will look at the younger ones and wish I was still young to enjoy and have less worries about life. I miss staying at home all by myself and getting to do nothing even the house chores unless I am asked to do it, I am always on my TV or playing games.
During Summer, when we are mostly on school holidays, my Cousins and Nephews do come to spend fun times with us at home. I cherish this memory a lot. My mom and my aunts often made the best meals when both hands were combined. The table will be filled with a lot of different types of food. I and my cousin mostly played competitive games together and most times I was always beaten even though I was the owner of the game. I get angry sometimes after being defeated but they are my cousins and my brothers and sister we are all bound together with love. I also enjoy going to play ball games with my cousins, in these games they stand no chance near me, I am very good at ball games, and dribbling them on different sides and times gives me joy. During summer I also enjoy no school no worries days where I am free to do anything and I don't have to be waking up early to do things like bathing early and a lot more.
I also Enjoyed Our Family Summer Vacations. My dad most times barely follows us because of the nature of his job that requires him to always be present there. It was during my summer vacation I first climbed a horse for the first time, even though I couldn’t move the horse myself. At first, I was very scared to climb the horse because I had watched several cartoons on how horse kicks when angry but I did lager climb it and I loved it then. It was during summer Vacation I first entered a pool and also a beach for the First time. I remember at the beach when I almost drowned but I was saved by someone close to me, what prompted this was that my dad and mom often took us to the pool to swim and have some free leisure time so I felt the beach was just like the pool whereby you can always stand back or recover, and I wasn’t meant to go very far when swimming then but I did.
I got My First bicycle in the summer. I felt like the happiest man in the world then. I often ride this bicycle to school and I felt very comfortable with it. I remember engaging in several races with my friends on who was fast with my bicycle and I won most of them.
Waking up where there is no need to go to school Or spend lecture time was fun. In summer, I also go to my friends and neighbors' places to spend some fun time with them. We most times engage in sports, swim or just go play around.
I missed my Childhood days although mine weren’t the only best days of my life those moments are very cherishing and appreciate everyone who made me feel happy and less lonely. I wish I had a phone then to share pictures with you all, I enjoyed those days.
