How We Built Trust Without Ever Meeting
My first experienece with social media seems diffrient, i had a weird-like type of chatting that even ladies i used this to ease online kind of indirectly insult me or ignore me, but i was really eager to making friends online because i was a shy boy growing up but i saw my confidence in chatting with people.

I remember I met a friend on Facebook, we both stayed in the same state and country also but our distance to each other was more than 4 hours, There was something different with this boy back then, he kind of understood me olre than my fruends arouund anmd i also understood him in some ways not fully.
Each time i finish school i kind of gist him about school, the ladies i was shy to confront, and he really bencouranged me with words, days after days passed, months also, now i was not just seeing him as a friend but also a very clolse friend even though we have not met face to face. It all started online, the closeness and the vibe started increasing, I did not just see him as a friend, later I started seeing him as a brother, I even saw more comfort in communicating things with him than even my elder brother. Later we all gained admission to different universities, he wanted to come to my university back then so we could meet since we are close, my universitt was the best university so far back then, which mdae him gain intrest in coming but he couldnt meet up because his parent wanted him to study in a nearby university close to his house.

It was after this monemt everything started reducing, i began to get busy with school works and yes, i was making new friends aslo which made everything seems more intresting because back then i had no one to trust as a friend i thought everyone wanted to make jokes of me, of how tall i was and shy. The closeness began to reduce, but later during my 300level which is my 3rd year in university he cahtted after no checking up for almost a year, and like a glimpse we started to develop that closeness back, and lo and behold, i invited him for an hangout, he came and it was really fun back then, we enjoyed every moment of our meeting.
He also met most of my friends, they were even surprised how we were so close like that, fortunately for David he had a first-day crush on my course mate, Kemi, i know kemi was single so i planned a dat and spoke to kemi about him, that was how both of them started from friendship now they are both dating and are far more comfortable with eachother that others outside.
To date, we still communicate, and we sometimes borrow each other's money and always return it, also when needed. I saw a brother in David, and he never proved me wrong, even though we met online.

That is a beautiful friendship you have there. Not all friendships stand the test of time.
Thank you, We still communicate till date most times
Wow, this was such a cool and relatable story. It's crazy how someone you meet online can end up feeling like family. I love how your friendsip with David grew naturally over time -even with distance and life changes, you both still made the effort to stay connected. The part about helping him get close to Kemi was sweet too, like everything came full circle. Really shows how powerful genuine connections can be, even from behind a scene
lol, i am not someone that build bonds and it was because kemi was also intrested in him that was why i felt easy
This is a wonderful friendship, to say it started online even. I guess the power of the online world could have that wonderful effect on friendships and connecting us also to lifelong relationships.
Thank you Daverick for your lovely comment
