My baby is just one year and three months old. The first purchase of clothes we made for him was about three months before he was born; I remember that day as if it were today. We had waited to do the main shopping until my wife was six months old. And as expected, we went to a baby clothes store located in Galeano, near Curitas Park. Actually, that day we went to two stores in that central Havana street. One in front of the aforementioned park and the other about two blocks up across Zapata.
But it was in the latter where we did most of our shopping. I'm not very picky about what I buy, I think it's a bad thing in many men. But my wife, who is picky in that sense, had told me before we went shopping that she didn't want anything denim or trendy. She didn't want our little girl to wear clothes that made her look like an older girl; because today in Cuba we are losing the traditions of traditional dress, and instead of preserving our customs and cultural traditions. We have abruptly incorporated European or North American customs.
That day we bought all the clothes she would wear for the first six months, well, at least what we thought she would wear and as far as we could afford. Some time later her uncle arrived and brought her a lot of clothes as a gift, maybe triple what we had bought her up to that moment. From that day on, my wife and I realized that for a baby, clothes are never enough, because he used all the clothes we bought, all the ones his uncle brought him and others that other relatives and friends gave us. Fortunately, after that day we have had to do very little clothes shopping for her, since she has received so many gifts. On the other hand, my wife and I are convinced that in the future we will have to go shopping for clothes for our little girl many times.

Something to remember is that every child grows out of clothing, often times people are looking for a good use of previous clothing and will happily share. !BBH
We have already shared some of what she has been left with, all practically new, as she is small and doesn't break clothes yet.
Thanks for the comment, for following this inexperienced hiver and for your support.
Have a great day to you and your large and precious family.
