Yesterday it was raining for a good part of the day. It was being a very oppressive day, as we had been without power since the night before. So the rain came to show me that even in the worst of times there are little things that bring joy. All it took was a few drops of rain on this plant and its appearance changed for the better. I am sure that one day another rain will come that will make everything around me that is tarnished today, shine as this flower did when the rain fell on it yesterday afternoon.

Ayer durante buena parte de día estuvo lloviendo. Estaba siendo un día agobiante, pues estábamos sin corriente eléctrica desde la noche anterior. Así que la lluvia llegó para mostrarme que aun en los peores momentos hay pequeñas cosas que traen alegría. Bastó con unas cuantas gotas de lluvia sobre esta planta y su aspecto cambió para mejor. Estoy seguro de que un día llegará esa otra lluvia que hará que todo lo que hoy desluce a mi alrededor, reluzca como lo hizo esta flor al caerle la lluvia en la tarde de ayer.
