How to fail at Splinterlands!

As you know, there is a debate about how it is not worthy to buy any other packs except Chaos Legion, as you lose money 99% of the cases. Well, I wanted to test this again, and I decided that tonight experiment is to buy 10 Rebellion packs, twice, to see if this is still true.

My advice for you, do not buy the Rebellion packs from the market, you would do better in terms of money or strategy just buying the cards that you need, individually, rather than the packs.

But enough with the chit-chat, let's see how this went. First 10 Rebellion packs, bought with 107 Hive worth around $40.70.

As you can see, I got 2 Epic cards, 12 Rare and no Gold ones. The total value was a bit over $12. So on the first 10 packs I was on minus $28 loss. Did not learned my lesson, so I bought another 10 packs for 107 Hive worth $40.70.

This was a bit better, with one Legendary card, 3 Epic, 13 Rare and 4 Gold Common. Yet, I still lost money, as they totalled only $29, with a minus $11 loss.

Conclusion: Do not buy Rebellion packs, just buy individual cards that you use often in battles. Summoners upgraded first, always.

So you incurred just a little over 24$ loss? That's a quite some loss, and even though the second experiment was better, i guess the lessons were learned, although some of the cards were good, just not valuable enough in terms of $$$
