My financial independence story - Crypto adventures - 2025 - Week 28 (Saturday Savers edition)
One of my favourite activities, creating and working on a plan for the whole next year. All the dopamine is involved in creating and working on a plan for the whole next year. All the dopamine is waiting for me, as I reach target after target. Exciting! Do you feel the same?
The plans. I managed to divide into 4 sections, Plan A related to Hive and Leo, where the main focus will be. Then, Plan B, different key numbers for tokens that either drip or pay, mostly Hive, but a few others too, if they have a good APR, it is all but finished. Plan C, mostly related to some layer 2 Hive tokens, that I use for curations or gaming, as well as all Splinterlands-related stuff, card upgrades and active land, SPS and SPT. And the last one, Plan D, cryptocurrencies I would like to have outside Hive, containing a little retirement nest, with stablecoins, shares, cash and some other crypto, aiming for 2 different staking wallets, 2 share accounts and cash. I use 2 account for both shares and staking just in case of bankuptcy, to not lose 100% of the funds. So, let's start with the numbers:
Plan A:
- Hive - 121.976/200.000 (10-step program - 125.501 for step 3/10)
- Participate in HiveFest. Ticket fees for two.
Achieved:
- LEO - I have 100.000/100.000 LEO staked.
Plan B: completely fulfilled.
- New target: 975K/1.000.000 staked CCD on @mightyrocklee, 119K/1.000.000 staked CCD on @heruvim1978, aiming to get the daily HSBI drip rewards. Another target for HSBI will be stablished once I reach the desired outcome. See link at the bottom of the post for more info.
Achieved:
- EDSI 500/500
- DAB 50/50
- DBOND 100/100
- RUG 50/50
- EDSD 25/25
- DUO 200/200
- LU 50/50
- POB 10k/10k
Plan C:
- Land - I want to get at least 11 Lands fully operational with 5 staked max-level cards, probably Rare, until the end of 2025. 9/11 (20 left)
- Rebellion - all Common and Rare summoners max level 0/10
- Conclave - Have one level 1 card of each kind, will be the start (the Legendary cards level 1 left)
Achieved:
- Riftwatchers - all cards, except some Legendaries, are max level.
- Zing/Hive pool 1% done
- Conclave - Have one level 1 card of each kind will be the start - All Common level 2 Done, All Rare level 1 Done, All Epic level 1 Done.
Plan D:
- Stablecoin liquidity 33.22%
- Share account no.1 20.05 %
- Share account no.2 18.13%
- Cash liquidity saved 75.60 %
- Emergency fund wallet - 0.55%
Looking at it, I feel that the most challenging 3 targets will be 200K Hive, Rebellion summoners upgrade and the stablecoin liquidity target. I will start with the small targets to motivate myself and push through my limits. Focusing on getting some more SPS to stake too next. We would see what I can change. Complicated.

Congrats for delivering on your plan. I went down to dust the last year doing some trading, starting with CEXs and then in the volatile DEXs. I am trying to build, through HIVE, some financial basis to land in the 2026 with more sound knowledge to do better in the market. As HIVE is the source of all my crypto experience, I expect to return to the platform many times more value when my (big) time arrives. Best regards from Cuba.

Thanks for that advice. I already do seven post in a week, even more in some timeframes, staking the 100% of my rewards in some posts as well. When I can, I try this way, especially when I need to power down some amount out of urgent necessity--as I am doing now. When I said I want to give back value to the platform, I meant that my goal is to power up and invest more HIVE than I’ve withdrawn. Best regards from Havana.
You can set rewards half as HBD and half as staked Hive, and keep the HBD staked for extra interest, then when you need it quick, just use it.
