We all desire something. Some people even have a wish list. I believe that desires move us. They are part of who we are and without them things would be dull. There are things we desire deep inside, things we want in order to live better, or simply things we want because they seem cool, useful, or interesting. A wish list is something very personal, each person has that dream to accomplish or something to achieve.

I think one of the most important items on my wish list is going to Italy. My great grandfather was Italian and I inherited not only part of the genetics but also an Italian surname that makes me curious to learn more. I like Italian culture because of the strong influence of my family history and going there has been a desire since I was a teenager. Things are not easy and life and the daily challenges prevent us from doing many things, and I still have not been able to satisfy the desire to visit the country where part of my family came from.

It would be very interesting to do that. Maybe the feeling of being there will be really unique when I manage to achieve it. I cannot say that it is at the top of my wish list but it would certainly be one of the most remarkable experiences for me and for now I can only imagine what it would be like. I am sure it would bring a memorable experience and would add a lot to the understanding of the culture of my roots.

The second item on my wish list is to have a house in the countryside, a self sustainable place with crops, animals and a water source. I intend one day to be able to buy a place where I can make this desire come true, a desire that is a little more survivalist if I could label it that way, since it is a project thought for necessity in case something in the world gets out of control like a war, a pandemic or any other type of chaos. I think having this would bring me peace of mind, knowing that I have a refuge not only to hide but to live well and enjoy the quality of life that only the countryside has. I already have a good part of this project ready to be executed and at some point the moment will come to put it into action.

Well, the third wish on this list I believe is to become a musician, actually not necessarily to become a musician but to be very good at an instrument, which in this case would be the harmonica. I have always liked music and I even played in a band when I was a teenager but I was never really a musician, I only knew how to do the basics, what was necessary. But honestly I have a strong desire to learn how to play the harmonica. I think it is an instrument with a very beautiful sound and I believe it is not very easy to learn. I have already looked at some courses that teach it but this would be one of the items on my wish list that I would be very happy to accomplish even though it is something so simple.

Well in the end I believe this is a bit of my wish list, something I would like to do before I die. It is not everything of course but I believe these would be some of the things that would really make me feel fulfilled in some way, things that would make me happy and bring good experiences or even improve my quality of life.

Não posso dizer que isso está no topo da minha lista de desejos, mas com certeza seria uma das experiências mais marcantes para mim e por enquanto eu posso apenas imaginar como seria. Tenho certeza de que traria uma experiência marcante e agregaria muito na absorção da cultura das minhas raízes.

O segundo item da minha lista de desejos é ter uma casa no campo, um local autossustentável, com plantação, criação de animais e uma fonte de água. Eu pretendo um dia poder comprar um local onde eu possa realizar esse desejo, um desejo um pouco mais sobrevivencialista se eu pudesse rotular assim, já que é um projeto pensado para necessidade caso algo no mundo saia do controle, como uma guerra, pandemia ou qualquer outro tipo de caos. Eu penso que ter isso me traria paz de espírito, saber que tenho um refúgio não apenas para me esconder, mas para viver bem e usufruir da qualidade de vida que apenas o campo possui. Eu já tenho boa parte desse projeto pronto para ser executado e uma hora vai chegar o momento de colocar isso para funcionar.

Bem, o terceiro desejo dessa lista acredito que seja me tornar músico, na verdade não necessariamente me tornar músico, mas ser muito bom em um instrumento, que nesse caso seria a gaita. Eu sempre gostei de música e já até toquei em banda quando era adolescente, mas nunca fui de fato um músico, sabia fazer apenas o básico, o necessário. Mas de verdade eu tenho o grande desejo de aprender a tocar gaita. Acho um instrumento com um som muito bonito e acredito que não seja muito fácil de aprender. Já andei olhando alguns cursos que ensinam, mas isso seria um dos itens da minha lista de desejos que eu ficaria muito feliz em realizar, mesmo sendo algo tão simples.

Bem, por fim acredito que isso seja um pouco da minha lista de desejos, algo que eu gostaria de fazer antes de morrer. Não está tudo aí, claro, mas acredito que essas seriam algumas das coisas que realmente me deixariam realizado de alguma forma, que me fariam feliz e trariam boas experiências ou até mesmo melhorariam minha qualidade de vida.
