The church of my daily life [EN/PT]

Every day, every single blessed day I used to walk past this church. It sits exactly halfway between my old job and my house and, since I lived close to work, seeing this church told me I was almost home. After all, from the halfway point onward is already the end, right?

But well, now that I'm working from home, I rarely pass by this church, and a curious fact is that I’ve never been inside it, well, I’m not Catholic. This is one of the main churches here in the city where I live and, this time, on a Sunday, I stopped to take some photos of it. I think it’s beautiful. To be honest, I really want to take my drone and shoot some aerial photos of it. If there’s something I enjoy doing with that drone, it’s taking photos of churches, but it’s been a while since I’ve done that too.

Anyway, Sunday morning is Mass time, and I think these photos were taken while a Mass was happening in this church. I took some photos and made a few different edits, I couldn’t decide which one looked better, so I ended up posting one of each. The edits I make are always intuitive, I have no technical knowledge about it, and maybe that makes it more interesting, doing it purely for pleasure, without sticking to methodical photography techniques. Well, at least for now.

Todo dia, todo SANTO dia eu passava em frente a essa igreja. Ela fica exatamente no meio do caminho entre meu antigo trabalho e minha casa e, como morava perto do trabalho, ver essa igreja me dizia que faltava pouco para chegar em casa. Afinal, do meio para frente já é o final, tô errado?

Mas bem, agora trabalhando em casa eu raramente passo perto dessa igreja e, um fato curioso, eu nunca entrei nela, bem, não sou católico. Essa é uma das principais igrejas aqui da cidade onde moro e, dessa vez, em um domingo, eu parei para tirar algumas fotos dela, acho ela bonita. Pra falar a verdade, eu tenho muita vontade de pegar meu drone para tirar algumas fotos aéreas dela. Se tem algo que gosto de fazer com esse drone é tirar fotos de igreja, mas já faz tempo que não faço isso também.

Mas enfim, domingo de manhã é dia de missa e acho que essas fotos foram feitas enquanto uma missa estava acontecendo nessa igreja. Tirei algumas fotos e fiz algumas edições distintas, fiquei na dúvida de qual ficou melhor, então acabei postando uma de cada. As edições que faço são sempre de forma intuitiva, não tenho qualquer conhecimento técnico sobre isso e talvez assim seja mais interessante: fazer apenas por prazer, sem me prender em técnicas metódicas de fotografia. Bem, pelo menos por enquanto.
