There's a popular saying: "Prevention is better than cure." As an admirer of this wisdom, I completely agree. It's better to anticipate a problem than to deal with it, and that's how I see many of my Splinterlands matches. We often focus on our strategy, but winning isn't just about us; on the other side, there's an opponent with the same intentions.

One of the things I always prioritize is the balance between attack and defense. It's always effective to think that we must defend ourselves as well as attack, and attack as well as defend. Finding the ideal pieces for every situation is an art—the art of strategy. But beyond thinking about this, one of the most effective aspects of a strategy is anticipating our opponent, and those who do so excel. But how do we anticipate our opponent's thousands of possible choices? The best parameter for this, of course, is the conditions of a match.

In today's battle, I brought a bit of this perspective, this way of anticipating our opponent's choices and defeating them. It's not about guessing, it's about thinking about the possibilities based on the battle rules. What I can say about this battle, which I'll discuss in more detail later, is that the battle rules included the rule that adds more shields. It's true that when more shields are on the battlefield, the obvious thing to do would be to choose magic attack monsters; it's the most efficient, but is it the smartest?

The obvious is easy to neutralize, and that's why we often need to think outside the box or even ignore what the battle rules provide in order to use this. Sometimes that's what we should do, and sometimes not; it all depends on the context and our view of the possibilities. My opponent could use magical attack monsters, and I could prepare for it and it wouldn't happen, but then I'd be ignoring this principle, and that's not what I did. I prepared my field team to accommodate this possibility and focused on my varied defense and offense as best I could. Some points to mention about this battle:

The only rule in effect in this battle dictated my opponent's choices, but we'll talk about that later because the rule for this battle will add shields to all monsters on the field. 93 mana, a very, very good amount for choosing higher-cost monsters, and almost all elements are available, except the death element.

For the summoner, my opponent chooses one I haven't faced in a while, and I like this summoner. It adds more magic attack to monsters and has the advantage of choosing any element as an additional, since a dragon-elemental summoner can do so. I, on the other hand, choose more speed and more shields.

For the tank position, it's nothing different from what I imagined: a magic attack monster. In my opinion, it's not the best tank to use, but its offensive power hints at what's in store for me. I choose a monster that will use its shields against these enemy magic attack monsters, since their attacks won't bypass shields. Furthermore, my tank will reduce melee attacks and deal more damage to high-cost monsters!

For the back line, a varied strategy. In my second position, I chose a monster to be my replacement tank, already thinking about the possibility of this happening. Next, two monsters to attack the weakest monster on the enemy field, and this combo has vicious offensive power. Finally, two monsters to help on the defensive side, one drawing attacks and the other restoring shields each round.

We can see from this part of the battle that it was very evenly matched, and despite my opponent being lower level, it gave me a lot of trouble. It's not easy to deal with magic-powered monsters, but imagine ifThey're empowered!

Olá Splinters, bem vindos de volta!

Existe um ditado popular que diz: "melhor se prevenir do que remediar" Eu como um admirador dessa sabedoria popular, concordo plenamente com isso. Melhor se antecipar a algum problema do que lidar com ele e é assim que vejo muita das minhas partidas em Splinterlands. Muitas vezes, focamos em nossa estratégia, mas vencer não se trata apenas de nós, do outro lado, tem um adversário com as mesmas intenções.

Uma das coisas que sempre priorizo é o equilíbrio entre ataque e defesa. É sempre eficiente pensar que devemos nos defender além de atacar e atacar além de se defender e buscar as peças ideais para todo situação é uma arte, a arte da estratégia. Mas além de pensar nisso, um dos aspectos mais eficiente de um estratégia é se antecipar ao nosso oponente e aqueles que fazem isso, se sobressaem. Mas como se antecipar diante de milhares de escolhas possíveis de nosso adversário? O melhor parâmetro para isso, é claro, as condições de uma partida.

Na batalha de hoje, eu trouxe um pouco dessa visão, dessa forma de se antecipar as escolhas de nosso oponente e vence-lo. Não se trata de adivinhar algo, se trata de pensar nas possibilidades baseado nas regras de batalha. O que posso dizer sobre essa batalha que falarei mais detalhadamente a frente, é que, na regra da batalha estava vigente a regra que adiciona mais escudos. é fato que quando mais escudos estão em campo de batalha, o óbvio seria escolher monstros de ataque mágico, é o mais eficiente, mas será que é o mais inteligente?

O óbvio é fácil de neutralizar e é por isso que muitas vezes precisamos sair da caixinha ou mesmo ignorar o que a regra de batalha proporciona em sentido de usar isso. As vezes é isso que devemos fazer e as vezes não, tudo depende do contexto e da nossa visão das possibilidades. Meu adversário poderia usar monstros de ataque mágico e eu me preparar para isso e não acontecer, mas então eu estaria ignorando esse princípio, e não foi isso que fiz. Preparei meu time de campo para receber essa possibilidade e foquei na minha defesa mais variada e na ofensividade da melhor maneira possível. Essa foi uma batalha que reuniu muitos elementos interessantes para uma boa estratégia e o convido a ver como tudo isso aconteceu. Vem comigo!!

A única regra vigente nessa batalha, ditou as escolhas de meu adversário, mas vamos falar sobre isso a seguir pois a regra dessa batalha vai adicionar escudos a todos os monstros em campo. 93 de mana, uma quantidade muito, mas muito boa para escolher monstros mais de custo mais alto e quase todos os elementos estão disponíveis, exceto o elemento morte.

Para summoner, meu adversário escolhe um que não enfrento faz tempo e eu gosto desse summoner. Ele adiciona mais ataque mágico aos monstros e possui a vantagem de escolher qualquer elemento como um adicional, visto que summoner do elemento dragão poderá fazer isso. Eu por outro lado, escolho mais velocidade e mais escudos.

Para a posição de tank, nada diferente do que imaginei, um monstro de ataque mágico. Na minha opinião, não é o melhor tank a ser usado, mas seu poder ofensivo mostra um pouco do que me aguardava. Eu escolho um monstro que usará os escudos contra esses monstro de ataque mágico inimigo, ja que aqui os ataques não vão ignorar os escudos. Além disso, meu tank vai reduzir ataque melee e dar mais danos em monstros de custo alto!

Para a linha de trás, uma estratégia variada. N aminha segunda posição, eu escolhi um monstro para ser meu tank substituto, pensando já na possibilidade de isso acontecer. Logo depois, dois monstros para atacar o monstro mais fraco no campo adversário e esse combo tem um poder ofensivo cruel. Por último, dois monstros para ajudar na parte defensiva, um atraindo os ataques e outro restaurando escudos a cada rodada.

Podemos perceber nessa parte da batalha que foi muito equilibrado e apesar do meu adversário possui level mais baixo, me deu muito trabalho. Não é fácil lidar com monstros de ataque mágico, agora imagine se eles estão potencializados!

Foi uma boa batalha e posso afirmar que se antecipar foi o que me proporcionou uma vitória!
