Places in my city [EN/PT]

The beauty of things and places lies in the way we see them. These are photos I took in different corners of my city, a place where I was born and lived for a while. I moved away for some time, but now I’m back, and it’s been three years. It’s beautiful, unique, and has a soul of its own. Walking through these places and taking in their beauty is something that always does me good.

It’s interesting to look at my city and observe its landscape, a mix of past and present, shaped into what it is today. Almost like poetry. A kind of poetry that feels even stronger at night, when everyone is home and the familiar sound of a busy city slows down into something quieter, almost intimate.

I like looking at it and feeling that I’m part of this place, and that, in some way, it’s also part of me. Having a place to call “home” is something special. And it’s just as important to take the time to appreciate it and not let routine fade its essence.

A beleza das coisas e dos lugares está na forma como as vemos. Estas são fotos que tirei em diferentes cantos da minha cidade, um lugar onde nasci e morei por um tempo. Depois me mudei, mas agora estou de volta, já faz três anos. Ela é linda, única, tem sua própria alma. Caminhar por esses lugares e enxergar sua beleza é algo que sempre me faz bem.

É interessante olhar para a minha cidade, observar sua paisagem, uma mistura de passado e presente moldada na forma como ela é. Quase uma poesia. Uma poesia que se sente ainda mais à noite, quando todos estão em casa, e o som familiar das cidades movimentadas ganha outro ritmo, mais calmo, quase íntimo.

Gosto de olhar para isso e sentir que faço parte deste lugar, e que, de alguma forma, ele também faz parte de mim. Ter um lugar para chamar de "meu" é algo especial. Também é importante saber admirar esse lugar e não deixar que a rotina apague sua essência.
