Peter wrote to us that Christ suffered leaving us an example that we should follow his steps. Jesus came to show us the way. He did everything he did as an example for us. We are to follow his example.

Baptism, they say that it is for the remission of our sins. Jesus Christ was not a sinner. He didn't need to be cleansed in any way. He was holy and sinless. This teaches us that the Lord Jesus Christ did everything for us to take him as our model on our walk with God. The teachings of Jesus Christ are to be the guide for us as we try to please God.

Baptism is one of the fundamental doctrines of the church. Our Lord Jesus instructed us to be baptized. He is said everyone who accept His words and believe in Him should be baptized. So, being baptized is not what we should argue about. Many christians argue about baptism. We should not do so. We must accept baptism.
