God has not been far from us. He is always near to us. He is the Creator of the whole universe. So, His presence is everywhere. He sees all of us; He knows everything about us. He is our ever present One. The Psalmist said: “Where can I go from your presence.” Anywhere we think of going, he’s already there. The Lord cannot be far from us. We are the one who take the path that makes us too far from God.

We are going on a road that makes us far from God when we live in disobedience to God. God hates disobedience to his laws. God wants us to obey His commandments. When we obey His commandments, we will be closed to Him because He will be closed to us. Sin is something that keeps us away from God.

To be close to God, we should study His laws. Meditation on the word of God brings God very close to us. When we study and reflect on God's Word, we allow our spirits to get connected to God
