What Makes A True Disciple Of Jesus Christ. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW
True disciples are those disciples who listen to the teachings of their master attentively. These are those who are following all what they are learning from their master. The disciple who does not follow his master's teachings is not a true disciple. Such a disciple is not a true representative of the master. A disciple should be able to represent his or her master. The disciple is the product of the master's teachings. The training principle is for the teacher to teach his students to be as he is. That is to say that the disciple will look like his mentor. There is no disciple who has no teacher. Everyone who is a disciple has a master. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, we are to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ which the apostles gave to the church.
We are the disciples of Jesus Christ. Everyone who has accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ is a disciple of Jesus Christ. It is left for us to prove ourselves as the true disciples of Jesus Christ. We should not have the Bible and then refuse to study it. The doctrines of Jesus Christ is the teachings which we are to follow as the disciples of Jesus Christ. We are not His disciples if we are not obedient to His commandments. So people come to church but their life does not reflect the teachings which is given to us in the church.
Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
