1 Corinthians 7:27 (KJV) Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.

A prudent wife only comes from God - this is great to learn.
Why then do we have the mentality of running around and scheming to pair up ourselves for marital purposes? Why then do we get worried out and over anxious because of winning spouses! This video from Bro Eli Soriano has enlightened us greatly. He made us understand that God is the one who gives wives.

Proverbs 19:14 (KJV) House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

According to the scriptures, riches and inheritance come from fathers. A father would have to cater for his family. He has the noble responsibility of gathering riches and inheritance for his children. But a good wife can only come from the Lord.

There are women living with men who are not wives to desire. There are those who have married and are already weary because of their wives or spouses. There are spouses whose attitudes have cost their partners to lose their lives. I believe that no one desires such a marriage.

Having gotten this understanding from Bro Eli Soriano, let those who are yet to marry put their trust and hope in God. Let them look up to God for their marital partners.
