Regaining The Love Of Parents. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

The love that we should have towards our children should not based on their manner of life. We should love them. We have learnt from what Jesus said in the Bible that even the wicked people know how to love their own children. That is why they know how to give them good gifts. So, if such people who are termed wicked can love their children, why can we love ours?

Matthew 7:11 (KJV) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

There is no way that there would not be offenses as long as we live in this world. Offenses are inevitable. So, we should always prepare our hearts to forgive those who sin against us. We should not keep offenses against those that we should love. The attribute which God expects of us as His followers is to love one another. The children are among the people which you should love.

Luke 17:1 (KJV) Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

The children who think that they have lost the love of their parents should examine their character. Like we heard in the video, the character of a person is what determines how others will love him. Let us live in a manner that will make our parents and others to accept us.
