It is a true thing that sometimes our children can misbehave. They can prove stubborn to us. They can do what we do not like. As human beings, we have the tendency of offending others and causing offenses. That should not determine how parents love their children. We should show our love for our children the same whether they are good or bad.

Matthew 7:9-11 (KJV) Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

That was why Jesus illustrated that there is no man, irrespective of how bad he or she is, that will give his child stone for bread or serpent instead of fish. This tells us that even the evil people still have the instinct of loving their children.
