Lessons On Sanctification, excerpt from The RCCG Annual Convention

A few days ago, we were at the Redemption Camp of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God situated in Mowe Nigeria for the annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God. We had a great time listening to life impacting lessons and messages from Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the church.

The meeting was held between Monday, 5th August to Sunday, 13th August. The theme of the gathering was HEAVEN. We were taught several lessons in a bit to charge us and keep us focus on making it to heaven.

Heaven is the throne of God. This is the belief of Christians. Christians are those who believe and follow the doctrines of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world who came from heaven to save and liberate men from the damnation of hell.

Heaven will be the home of all those who live according to the commandments and instructions of God written in the Bible. For anyone to make it to heaven, such a person must accept Jesus Christ and believe in Him. He or she must repent from sins and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as it is commanded in the Bible.

This video is one of the teachings of the convention which was on the Wednesday of the program. In the video, Pastor Adeboye is teaching us about sanctification. Sanctification is the process where a person is thoroughly cleansed of every sinful habit and character. We must be sanctified to be able to make it to heaven.
