I met a man who spent hours in the night praying. Now that is a good addiction. We must be addicted to what is good. We must get addicted to studying our Bible. We must get addicted to praying. We must get addicted to doing good to all men. We must get addicted to ensuring that there is always peace around us. We must get addicted to being good citizens.

Wrong addiction is what makes addiction bad. When a person becomes addicted to drinking such that his family becomes ashamed of him whenever they see him, that is a written addiction. When someone becomes addicted to sleeping with strange ladies so much that he he spends every penny on him on harlots and strange women, that is a wrong addiction.

Addiction comes when our flesh becomes used to something. Often times people are used to doing what is evil. That is why we have those who have become addicted to bad drugs and harmful substances. They have allowed their flesh to be addicted to things that are harmful to their health, mentally and physically. We should rather be addicted to doing those things that are good not the bad ones.
