Forgiveness of sin.
When we confess our sin, God is faithful and just to forgive us our unrighteousness. He is a forgiving God. He is a God who does not want anyone to perish. The call of God to our lives is the call of repentance unto salvation. The salvation of God is what we need. We need God to forgive us our sins and save our souls.

The Bible has warned us against sins which are unto death. They are sins unto death. These are the ones which are referred to as spiritual sins. We should not commit those kinds of sins. They are sins which might be forgiven. The Lord Jesus Christ said that if one sins against the Holy Spirit, he will not be forgiven.

We are admonished to forgive one another. The Bible says that if we forgive others, our heavenly Father will also forgive us. But if we do not forgive others, our heavenly Father will not forgive us. The Lord Jesus Christ said we would have to forgive those who offend us as many times as they offend us.
