LOH Contest Wk#166|| Baby Steps to Becoming the Woman I Want

would you do differently or start doing for yourself next year?

Welcome to Loh contestwk# 166, I always see people say New New Year, new me which isn't a bad thing, but at the end of the day, you see them doing the same things and also even doing much worse than they did before.

If there's one thing I always do before the new year is wash all of my dirty clothes and also clean the house before entering the new year hahaha, now I know that's very funny. But it was a tradition until this year. I had up to 10 clothes to wash because I had some family relatives over who wore some of my clothes, and that was a lot for me to wash because I barely kept dirty clothes. I was too lazy to wash them so I had to cross over with them to the new year.

Here are some things I want to start doing differently in the year 2024

Making decisions for me
I'm the most indecisive person that has ever graced this planet Earth, I know you'll be wondering Nah, it's not that bad, but believe me when I say it's that bad. Give me two shirts to pick one from, I won't be able to, because I'm confused which is better than the other. I'm so indecisive that I can't do anything on my own. Someone else has to put their opinion before I can get things done. So this is one habit I want to stop this year and start doing things on my own.
I'm still taking baby steps, but right now, I've been picking things for myself without asking anyone for help. I'm intentional about this because I don't want to start the new year with such a habit.

Love more, and care more
I don't like getting too emotionally attached to people because I feel they'll leave at the end of the day, so why waste my time and emotions on someone I know will leave me? I always don't care about anything, I know it's weird, but I feel we're all adults and people can do whatever they want to do.
I want to give my all to my present and future relationships because it's better to love fully. Most times I don't care if my boyfriend doesn't call me, I always tell him it doesn't matter to me if you call or not which is weird and I know, but that's just how I am and I'm hoping to change for the better this year. I know you're thinking it's because I don't love him, but I do, but the problem is I just don't care.

Talk more
Just this morning my sister was just talking about how each of us behaves in the house and she told me I'm always quiet and in my own space, even if I haven't eaten the whole day, nobody would know, I wouldn't disturb anyone about anything. I will always find a way to get my things done myself.
I don't like asking for help, I like working and getting all of my things done for myself, and by myself. This isn't a bad trait, but people are complaining about it. I believe if more than 3 persons complain about a habit you're exhibiting, then something is wrong and you need to do something about it.
I don't even know what to do about this, but let's see how my perspective towards this changes.

Invest more of my time in making money, and friends that would impact my life positively.
