Introduction to Vector Functions
In this video I introduce vector functions and show how they differ from the real-value functions that we are used to. Vector functions have domain of real numbers and a range of vectors. Compare this with real-valued functions which have both domain and range being single values, aka numbers. I focus on vectors in 3 dimensions since they are the most common type of vector-functions. I also use the parameter t, indicating time, since that is most common as well. I go over an example of finding the domain of a 3D vector function by finding the domain of the component functions that comprise it.
